**Years of Experience:** 3* - 5 years of experience* **Education Requirements:***Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.* **Program Description:** *The contractor shall provide IT Infrastructure support services, which includes Tier 1 Help Desk, Tier 2 End User Support, Tier 3 Server, Platform, and Network Infrastructure Support and Engineering. Services shall include, but are not limited to, technical assistance for hardware, software, and network issues; incident and problem resolution; service request management; infrastructure monitoring and support; hardware and software lifecycle support; and management of escalation across all tiers.* **Position Description:** *Manage and maintain the virtualized IT infrastructure to ensure its stability, performance, and security. Administer on-prem and cloud hosted environments, resolving virtualization-related issues, and supporting NCUA IT initiatives. Oversight of on-prem hardware infrastructure (e.g., servers and storage), the on-prem hypervisor environment (e.g., VMWare, vSphere), and CSP infrastructure hosted in Microsoft Azure. Contributes to the automation oof infrastructure deployment and the integration of IaC into CI/CD pipelines.* **Responsibilities: ***Maintaining and optimizing virtualized IT infrastructure, including VMware, Hyper-V, and cloud platforms. Proactive monitoring, performance tuning, troubleshooting, implementing patching and updates, and ensuring security and business continuity through robust backup and disaster recovery plans.*
Job Requirements
- Required Skills: **
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience. *
- 3-5 yrs experience in virtualization administration, with a focus on VMware, Hyper-V, or similar technologies. *
- Demonstrated experience in managing and troubling shooting VMware vSphere environments.*
- Supporting virtualization infrastructure in Microsoft Azure.*
- Automating IT administration and server provisioning using tools such as: Azure, Azure DevOps, Azure Automation, Azure CLI, PowerShell and VMWare PowerCLI, Terraforms or similar IaC tools.*
- Integrating infrastructure management tools with APIs to enable deployment of Infrastructure as Code integrated into CI/CD deployment pipelines.*
- Preferred Skills**
- VMware Certified Professional (VCP) and Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate preferred.*
