• Lead administration of the IBM InfoSphere DataStage platform (11.7) including installation, configuration, and ongoing platform management. • Configure and manage DataStage components including engine tier, services tier, repositories, and project environments. • Support promotion and deployment of ETL assets across development, test, and production environments. • Analyze and optimize DataStage job performance and troubleshoot ETL bottlenecks and performance issues affecting batch processing windows. • Collaborate with development teams to improve ETL design patterns and job performance. • Administer enterprise job orchestration tools such as RunDeck, Control-M, or similar scheduling platforms used to manage ETL batch workloads. • Monitor batch execution and troubleshoot job failures across the ETL pipeline and develop operational procedures for job restart, failure recovery, and incident response. • Provide operational support for the Cognos Analytics reporting platform (v 12.1.0). • Monitor Cognos services and assist with platform troubleshooting and operational stability. • Support deployment and promotion of Cognos reports and packages across environments.
Job Requirements
- 10+ years of experience administering IBM InfoSphere DataStage platforms.
- Demonstrated expertise in DataStage installation, configuration, and administration.
- Experience doing software installations, patches and upgrades for InfoSphere Datastage, in RHEL, Linux/Unix environments.
- Strong experience managing large-scale ETL batch processing environments.
- Experience administering ETL platforms integrated with enterprise job orchestration tools such as RunDeck, Control-M, or similar schedulers.
- Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning experience for ETL pipelines.
- Experience working with enterprise relational databases such as DB2.
- Experience working with Linux-based enterprise data platforms.
- Experience supporting data warehouse and analytics environments.
