Role Description As a Paid Media Account Manager, you will serve as the primary strategic partner and main point of contact for a portfolio of DTC clients. In this role, you will be responsible for managing client relationships, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring the successful execution of paid media strategies that drive growth across channels such as search, social, and programmatic. This role is highly collaborative and requires strong communication, project management, and strategic thinking skills. While you will work closely with internal specialists across Paid Media, Creative, Analytics, Owned and Earned Marketing, you will be responsible for ensuring all initiatives align with client goals and are delivered effectively. The ideal candidate has strong experience within the paid media ecosystem and understands how the different components of performance marketing—campaign strategy, creative, audience targeting, and on-site experience—work together to drive results. What You'll Do - Client Leadership & Relationship Management - Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of DTC clients, building strong relationships and acting as a trusted advisor on paid media strategy. - Lead regular client meetings, including performance reviews, strategic discussions, and quarterly business reviews. - Ensure high levels of client satisfaction through proactive communication, strategic recommendations, and clear performance insights. - Strategy & Performance Oversight - Translate client business goals into actionable paid media strategies across platforms including Google, Meta, TikTok, and other emerging channels. - Monitor account performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, scale, and overall return on investment. - Budget planning and performance forecasting by leveraging historical data, platform insights, and scenario-based thinking to guide investment decisions and growth strategies. - Connect cross-functional teams to ensure strategies across paid, owned, and earned channels are aligned, cohesive, and driving toward shared client goals; translate these efforts into clear, digestible, and actionable recommendations. - Provide data-driven insights and recommendations based on performance trends, testing results, and platform dynamics. - Stay informed on platform updates and best practices across paid media and the broader digital marketing landscape as well as within the client's industry. - Cross-Functional Collaboration & Account Growth - Coordinate closely with internal teams across Paid Media, Analytics, Creative, etc. to ensure successful execution of client strategies. - Manage timelines, priorities, and deliverables across multiple accounts while ensuring work is delivered on schedule. - Identify opportunities to expand services and drive incremental growth for client accounts. - Contribute to internal best practices and knowledge sharing across the Paid Media team. - Proactively identify opportunities to retain and grow client revenue by uncovering gaps, recommending upsells, and introducing new solutions that align with client goals and broader business objectives. Qualifications - 3–5 years of experience in digital marketing, paid media, or eCommerce account management. - Experience developing or contributing to paid media strategies and media plans across platforms such as Google, Meta, TikTok, and other digital channels. - Strong understanding of how budget allocation, targeting, and creative drive performance outcomes. - Experience managing or supporting paid media campaigns across search and social. - Previous experience in a client-facing account management role, ideally within an agency or consulting environment. - Strong understanding of performance marketing including campaign structure, audience strategy, creative testing, and performance analytics. - Proactive and detail-oriented, with a strong ability to connect the dots across media, creative, and on-site performance data to deliver cohesive, actionable insights. - Proven ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. - Strong project management and organizational skills. - Ability to analyze performance data and translate insights into actionable recommendations. - Excellent communication and presentation skills. - Experience managing budgets, forecasts, and performance reporting preferred. - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Canva. - Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field preferred. - Agency or consulting experience is strongly preferred.
