Job Description

Specialist II – Contract Operations

DaVita Kidney Care

• Serve as a vital member of DaVita’s Payor Contracting team • Process initial credentialing, re-credentialing, and obtain in network confirmations • Build and maintain strong partnerships with payors • Document workflow actions in appropriate systems and databases • Provide workflow status updates to key stakeholders • Complete credentialing applications and assemble documentation as required by payors • Obtain network participation status from payors • Complete regular audits of workflow to ensure high levels of accuracy • Oversee initial and complex credentialing requirements discussions with entities and agencies

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Minimum of six (6) months’ administrative or clerical business office experience required
  • Minimum of six (6) months’ experience in licensing, healthcare, or insurance preferred
  • Proven ability to “get stuff done” and build strong professional relationships with internal teams and external payor partners
  • Innovative and flexible thinker with strong organizational skills and the ability to organize, prioritize and coordinate multiple activities and a large workload
  • Attention to detail and the ability to complete a high volume of tasks accurately, within set SLA timelines and with minimal supervision
  • Ability to think critically, analyze and solve problems
  • Demonstrated willingness to learn new skills and adapt to change
  • Remains calm and effective in high pressure and urgent situations
  • Ability to manage confidential information and/or issues using discretion and judgment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
