Accounting Associate, AR/AP

Zipdev

• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all transactions. • Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analyses, addressing discrepancies as necessary. • Perform regular bank and account reconciliations. • Support the budgeting and forecasting processes across the portfolio. • Assist with annual CAM reconciliations, tenant billings, and adjustments. • Collaborate closely with property management and asset management teams to provide financial information and support operational decision-making. • Maintain accurate financial records within Yardi, ensuring compliance and efficiency. • Assist in the preparation of documentation for audits and tax filings. • Continuously improving accounting procedures and internal controls.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 2-4 years’ experience in an accounting role, ideally within commercial real estate.
  • Proficient in Yardi accounting software (strongly preferred).
  • Strong communication skills, with C1+ preferred in both written and verbal English.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Solid understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Role Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounting Analyst to support day-to-day accounting operations. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who is looking to gain hands-on experience across expense management, vendor operations, and the month-end close process.
