NetSuite Technical Project Manager

• Own end-to-end delivery for NetSuite initiatives, from discovery and requirements through testing, launch, and post-implementation support • Partner with stakeholders to define requirements, user stories, success criteria, and “victory conditions” before development • Serve as the primary liaison between business teams and vendors, translating needs into clear technical requirements • Configure and manage NetSuite functionality, including workflows, saved searches, reports, imports, and admin tasks • Support core financial and operational workflows such as sales orders, purchase orders, fulfillment, and invoicing • Manage tickets, documentation, and delivery tracking using tools like Jira and Microsoft Teams • Handle multiple initiatives simultaneously, shifting context quickly while maintaining clarity and progress • Lead stakeholder discussions during complex or frustrating situations, driving calm, productive resolution • Gradually assume leadership responsibilities, including managing vendors and building a supporting team • Use AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot) daily to draft requirements, summarize discussions, analyze data, interpret proposals, and accelerate troubleshooting.
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a NetSuite Technical Project Manager or similar role
- Excellent NetSuite administration and project delivery experience, including configuring reports, saved searches, workflows, and imports
- Deep understanding of NetSuite financial processes and end-to-end flows (order-to-cash, procure-to-pay)
- Proven ability to gather, document, and validate clear requirements before development and QA
- Excellent communication skills, able to work across diverse stakeholders and styles
- Highly effective project management skills with attention to detail, accountability, and ownership
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel for data analysis, imports, and reporting
- Applies NetSuite architectural expertise and problem-solving to evaluate technical proposals and guide developers toward best practices
- Exercises sound judgment using AI—leveraging it for speed (docs, drafts, analysis, recaps) while relying on expertise for critical decisions and validations
- Comfortable working across U.S. time zones.
