Role Description Due to a strategic shift toward AI-driven network operations and cloud integration, we are opening a new specialized role for a Lead Network Assurance Engineer. Unlike previous general operations roles, this position is focused specifically on Wireless/Wired Assurance utilizing the Juniper Mist AI platform and overseeing high-level cloud connectivity. Work Set-up: 100% Work from home Work Schedule: Mid to Night Shift (9-hour shift falling within 7:00 AM – 8:00 PM UK Time / 3:00 PM – 4:00 AM PH Time) On-Call: Reactive on-call support as required for high-priority security or cloud incidents What You’ll Do (Duties and Responsibilities) - SME Leadership: Serve as the primary Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Juniper Mist, focusing on AI-driven insights to proactively prevent network degradation. - Cloud Infrastructure Integration: Act as the technical lead for troubleshooting Azure ExpressRoute and AWS Direct Connect integrations—moving the role beyond standard hardware maintenance into cloud-hybrid networking. - Advanced Assurance: Drive "2nd line" network assurance by identifying root causes in complex low-latency or media broadcasting environments. - Strategic Documentation: Beyond standard SOPs, you will design technical diagrams and reporting specifically for cloud-networking health and Mist AI performance. - Operational Training: Conduct knowledge-sharing sessions to upskill junior staff on Mist AI troubleshooting practices. Qualifications - Certification: MUST be CCNP certified with an ACTIVE certification status. - Juniper Mist Proficiency: Proven experience acting as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Juniper Mist AI platform, specifically in managing Wireless and Wired assurance. - Network Fundamentals: Mastery of core networking concepts including VRFs, Quality of Service (QoS), and Multicast. - Infrastructure Maintenance: Hands-on experience in performing critical network maintenance, including firmware/software upgrades and implementing complex change requests. - Service Background: Previous experience in a 2nd line support role within an MSP or IT Solutions Provider environment. - Process Knowledge: Familiarity with ITIL best practices and incident management systems such as ServiceNow, Zendesk, or HaloITSM. - Soft Skills: Customer-centric approach with the ability to communicate complex technical security issues to diverse stakeholders. Nice to Have - Cloud Connectivity: Preferred knowledge of Azure ExpressRoute and AWS Direct Connect. - Industry-Specific Experience: Advantageous to have experience in media broadcasting or low-latency network environments. - Security & SD-WAN: A background in Zscaler and SD-WAN is noted as good to have. • Work with 4G/5G core network products from vendors like Nokia, Ericsson, and Samsung • Analyze and interpret 3GPP specifications and telecom standards • Design and implement API integrations across network functions (NFs) • Work with REST APIs (OpenAPI/Swagger) for telecom integrations • Enable integration of LF CAMARA APIs with network functions such as: - NEF / SCEF - PCF (Policy Control Function) - UDR (Unified Data Repository) • Collaborate with vendors to identify gaps and define API roadmaps • Support implementation of GSMA Open Gateway architectures • Understand and contribute to call flows and connection flows across: - IMS (IP Multimedia Subsystem) - SBA (Service-Based Architecture) - OSS/BSS systems (TM Forum standards)

Role Description The Senior Network Engineer is responsible for effectively installing, configuring, operating, monitoring, and maintaining network infrastructure. This individual researches, recommends, and implements processes and tools to continuously improve the network infrastructure. This individual ensures that network systems and related procedures adhere to organizational values and standards. Individuals in this position are expected to support project efforts by performing technical analysis, design, build, test, and implementation tasks. This position works closely with network, systems, and security analysts, administrators, and engineers. This individual has primary technical responsibility for the following environments: - Datacenter and branch firewalls - Datacenter core and branch access switches - Client and site-to-site VPN connectivity - Wireless access points - Data circuits This role is designated as primarily remote. Reliable transportation is required, and the employee must be capable of responding onsite in the Dublin area within 1 hour for network emergencies. Essential Duties and Responsibilities - Recommend and follow technical standards for network device configuration - Create and update network diagrams and documentation - Proactively monitor network status/health and address issues as appropriate - Perform network upgrades and patches as necessary to include firmware and operating systems - Engage with vendors for license renewals and support cases - Use expertise to support other team members with network troubleshooting and issue resolution - Develop and maintain network security configurations - Ensure network security standards and practices are implemented and maintained within the infrastructure environment - Perform network segmentation testing - Troubleshoot network performance issues to include packet capture and analysis - Maintain and exercise a disaster recovery plan for network connectivity - Individual is expected to be generally available 24 x 7 x 365 in case of emergency - Additional job duties as assigned Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in technical discipline (Computer Science/Engineering, Information Technology, etc.) or equivalent experience - Six to eight+ years of experience implementing, configuring, and maintaining network switches, firewalls, and wireless access points - Advanced understanding of LAN/WAN principles and protocols to include dynamic routing (BGP/OSFP), policy-based routing, DNS, DHCP, IPSec, HSRP, and NAT - Experience designing and implementing network security controls - Highly attentive to detail - Strong verbal and written communication skills - Self-motivated individual who takes initiative and drives work forward with minimal direction - Palo Alto Networks certification (PCNSA, PCNSE, or Next-Generation Firewall Engineer) strongly preferred - Networking certification from Cisco, HPE (Aruba), or Juniper preferred - Azure Network Engineer Associate and/or Azure Security Engineer Associate preferred - Secondary expertise in one or more of the following is a plus: VMware (VVF/VCF), Windows Server, Microsoft 365, or Azure administration - Experience working in a PCI, HIPAA, ISO 27001, and/or SOC 2 environment is a plus Work Schedule Employee will be required to work a minimum of forty (40) hours of per week or as many hours as it may take to perform above job duties.
