Regional Account Manager

Role Description As a 911 and/or Public Safety Account Executive, you will play a critical role in driving sales growth and expanding RapidSOS’s footprint in public safety technology. This is a high-impact, consultative sales role focused on working with public safety agencies, government organizations, and first responder networks. This position is ideal for a competitive, resilient sales professional who thrives in complex, technical sales environments and wants to make a real-world impact on emergency response and public safety. - Own the full sales cycle – from prospecting to closing large, strategic deals. - Develop and manage relationships with C-level leaders, procurement teams, and technology stakeholders in public safety agencies and government organizations. - Navigate long sales cycles (6-12 months) and government procurement processes, including RFPs and contract negotiations. - Collaborate cross-functionally with product, marketing, and customer success teams to drive adoption and tailor solutions. - Drive market expansion and strategy, identifying new business opportunities to accelerate growth. - Operate in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment with uncapped commission potential and fast career progression. Qualifications - Competitive & Resilient – You’ve demonstrated grit in high-performance environments (e.g., startups, team sports, endurance sports, military, or leadership under pressure). - Proven Sales Success – 10+ years of overall sales experience with 5+ years of experience in complex, technical enterprise sales (e.g., SaaS, GovTech, Cybersecurity, Healthcare Tech, Enterprise Software). - Proven track record - Experience closing large-scale deals ($100K+ to $1M+) in SaaS or Enterprise software, with a focus on strategic, solution-based selling to enterprise clients. - Technical & Business Acumen – You understand SaaS solutions, cybersecurity, or AI-driven technology and can translate them into business value. - Self-Starter in a Fast-Paced Startup – You thrive in high-growth, ambiguous environments and have a track record of exceeding sales targets. Requirements - Experience in public safety, GovTech, defense, or mission-driven technology (nice-to-have). - Experience with government procurement & RFP processes (nice-to-have). - Background in MEDDPICC or related sales methodology (nice-to-have). - Former startup experience, ex-military, or elite athlete – we value resilience & adaptability (nice-to-have).
