The Role As a Principal Data Scientist (IC4), you will lead the design and development of AI-driven systems within the Spectra Platform, spanning backend services, data systems, and intelligent workflows. You will own complex, high-impact initiatives that cut across multiple systems and teams, driving projects from early concept through production deployment and iteration. This role requires strong technical leadership and hands-on work across both software engineering and applied AI. You will design and implement agent workflows, guardrails and evaluation approaches, while building the systems and processes needed to ensure reliability and confidence in results. A successful candidate brings strong technical judgment, experience delivering large-scope systems, and the ability to collaborate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders across engineering, product, and infrastructure.
