To connect with us, visit www.usatodayco.com The Optimization Strategist will work in a pod structure with Account Managers to support our largest clients, providing strategic insights and recommendations for PPC and SEO campaigns. While Account Managers are responsible for client facing communication, the Optimization Strategist is the principle responsible for day-to-day campaign management, optimization, and reporting. The Opti will review campaigns regularly, make changes, assess digital campaign trends, and partner with sales and client success to provide performance metrics that support client retention. About your Responsibilities:   Our ideal candidate must have a background in digital marketing with applied experience in PPC and ideally SEO. Candidates must have a minimum of three years working knowledge and understanding of the digital marketing landscape. The Optimization Strategist candidate must be a self-starter, be proactive, can work independently on tasks, work well with a team, follow through on projects. Candidates must have advanced knowledge of Microsoft suite products including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, and excellent written and verbal communication skills. An Executive Accounts Optimization Strategist will need to be able to prioritize and load balance across several platforms and clients within specific service level agreements (SLAs) and expectations. Job duties may include:   - Serving as a clients’ Optimization Strategist - Completing digital ad campaign reviews (providing detailed recommendations on optimization enhancements to improve our clients’ performance metrics) - Optimizing PPC campaigns in order to increase campaign success - Updating and/or creating pacing reports for campaigns - Creating campaigns within our platform - Providing weekly/monthly/ad hoc reporting - Providing miscellaneous research as needed - Creating ads and A/B tests for PPC - Reviewing keywords and providing feedback on potential keyword strategies - Providing reviews of SEO tasks - Completing SEO reporting - Join client meetings as needed and be comfortable presenting findings and analysis as needed - Build rapport with internal team members through routine and scheduled meetings - Develop & advise on marketing strategies as well as assessing feasibility based on the client expectations, and identifying marketing and advertising opportunities for our clients - Execute budgets and strategies to meet specific client goals/needs - Monitor, evaluate, and leverage standard processes to manage and improve SEM/SEOcampaign performance across LOCALiQ’s publisher networks to determine improvement opportunities - Troubleshoot performance issues using digital advertising best practices while creating new, innovative solutions to meet the changing needs of our clients - Drive campaign ROI and leverage client relationships to assist the sales team in growing accounts - Incorporate constantly evolving technologies and processes into the client solution delivery process   Key Qualifications: - 3 - 5 years of experience in the digital space, in an agency environment, or in-house equivalent - 2+ years of campaign management experience - Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate digital marketing concepts - Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public relations or related fields - Advanced knowledge and understanding of SEM, SEO, social, email marketing, display, and an understanding of new media consumer behaviors and trends - Ability to load balance, prioritize and manage heavy workloads with flexibility to rapidly shift priorities based on organizational needs - Creative thinker with strong time management, and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail #LI-REMOTE #LOCALiQ #LI-LL The annualized base salary for this role will be $45, 000,00 - $55,000.00.  Variable compensation is not reflected in these figures and based on the role, may be applicable.
