National Practice Accelerator Program Manager

• Own and govern the National Practice Accelerator as a core enterprise program, with accountability for strategy, design, execution, performance oversight, governance, and ongoing evolution. • Own program governance for NPA participation, eligibility, and success criteria, defining and documenting enterprise standards for qualification, performance, progression, and transition. • Hold decision authority for program standards and structural changes, ensuring disciplined and consistent application across all practices in NPA. • Lead the design and evolution of scalable communications, content, resources, and program capabilities that enable practices to meet and sustain NPA standards, leveraging data and performance insights to assess impact and guide continuous improvement. • Serve as the architect and governing authority for NPA participation, performance, and success criteria, establishing enterprise standards and ensuring disciplined, consistent application across all practices. • Oversee the application and selection framework and process for new NPA teams, ensuring adherence to qualitative and quantitative criteria. • Define and govern NPA transitions including criteria, standards, and operating models that ensure continuity of support beyond program participation. • Establish and own the enterprise performance framework for NPA, using data and insights to assess impact, inform strategic decisions, and guide program evolution. • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the NPA and across advisor teams within NPA. • Collaborate with Practice Growth Directors, National Practice Directors, and field leaders to identify, prepare, and support practices for NPA participation and expansion, and as appropriate transitioning from the program. • Shape enterprise direction by translating strategy into scalable program design, influencing senior leaders and cross-functional partners to align resources, priorities, and execution. • Model Thrivent’s leadership competencies, Model the Way, Rally the Team, and Deliver Outcomes. • Support an environment focused on exceptional employee engagement and unwavering commitment to clients, upholding Thrivent’s purpose, promise, and values.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, or a related field
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in financial services, with significant experience in building strategies and programs for practice management, teaming, succession planning, mergers, and acquisitions, or a related field
  • Experience creating and executing on new programming across an organization
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage, influence, and communicate with senior leaders, advisors, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams effectively
  • Ability to identify and analyze trends in advisor practice management, teaming, succession, and acquisition planning to drive data-informed strategies
  • Proven ability to manage and develop complex teaming, succession, and practice management strategies while maintaining exceptional service and experience standards for all stakeholders
  • Advanced degree or designation (e.g., MBA, CFP®) - Preferred
