Job Description

Physical Security System Design Engineer

ZBeta, Inc.

• Develop customized technical solutions to meet client and project requirements • Serve as an internal physical security technology subject matter expert supporting project managers and systems designers • Contribute to the development of engineering and technical consulting tools and processes • Create, edit, review, and proof design and engineering drawings • Conduct technical studies and product research • Assist consulting and project management staff with technical troubleshooting • Confirm proper function, operation, performance, and compliance vs applicable standards

Job Requirements

  • 5+ years of security system design and/or security technology experience is required
  • 2+ years Revit &/or AutoCAD experience is preferred
  • Proficiency in Lenel security system hardware and programming required
  • Genetec, C
  • CURE, and other security system hardware and programming are a plus
  • Highly proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software
  • Proficiency in Bluebeam and Navisworks
  • Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design software such as Revit & AutoCAD is preferred
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills, with an ability to organize and present design information to clients
