Overview Goldbelt Nighthawk develops and implements comprehensive solutions for problem spaces including computer security, Cloud implementations and migration, scalable architectures, advanced analytics, artificial intelligence, and network/data center operations. Specializing in incident response at the local and enterprise-wide levels as well as forensic analysis, our personnel deliver threat analysis and reporting while implementing solutions based on mature planning and development practices. Summary: Goldbelt Nighthawk is hiring a Cloud Administrator to support a long-term contract in Mechanicsburg, PA. The selected candidate will be responsible to manage and maintain the cloud infrastructure and services used by the organization. This includes provisioning and configuring cloud resources, monitoring system performance, and ensuring security and compliance standards are met. The selected candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy and maintain cloud-based applications, troubleshoot any operational issues, and implement automation and monitoring tools. Additionally, they will be responsible for managing user access, optimizing resource utilization, and staying up to date with the latest cloud technologies and best practices. Strong knowledge of cloud platforms, excellent problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to system administration are essential for this role. Within driving distance to Mechanicsburg, PA preferred. Responsibilities Essential Job Functions: - Excellent customer service, organizational, and writing skills - Ability to communicate at Officer/Senior Enlisted/GS level in a military support environment - Ability to use plain language to communicate complex concepts to all levels of the organization - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Ability to escalate issues quickly to enable rapid resolution - Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment - Self-directed conflict resolution - Excellent organizational skills - Attention to detail Qualifications Necessary Skills and Knowledge: - Must be able to fully install, configure, modify, sustain, and troubleshoot the following: - Microsoft Server OS - Internet Information Services - Windows Server Updates Services - Red Hat Enterprise Linux servers Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in a related field - Computing Environment Certification - AWS Certified Solution Architect Associate - Information Assurance Technical II (IAT-2) qualification - CompTIA Sec+ - Successful T5 or T5R investigation for Privileged Access (Top Secret Clearance equivalent eligibility) - 5+ years of experience in the following areas: - Experience analyzing logs to be able to determine root causes for problems - Experience working with cloud provider infrastructure as a service and networking technologies (preferred platforms include Amazon Web Services (GovCloud) - Highly technical and analytical possessing 2+ years of IT platform implementation experience - Experience in a progression of roles to include delivering and sustaining technical solutions - Demonstrated customer focus and strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Familiarity with the following areas - Ansible automation - SCCM administration experience - Understanding of IaC concepts Preferred Qualification: - AWS Certified Solution Architect Professional Pay and Benefits The average salary for this role is $150,000 annually DOE.
