The Role The Procurement Operations Lead is a senior leadership role responsible for shaping, governing, and continuously improving a scalable, policy-aligned procurement operations delivery model in close partnership with Procurement, Finance, Legal, Compliance, and other risk stakeholders. This role provides enterprise-level oversight of operational buying, Purchase Requisition (PR) governance, and supplier onboarding across the Global Procurement Organization. You will operationalize and enforce procurement policies, financial controls, and supplier risk frameworks through standardized, scalable processes that support speed and consistency while maintaining defined guardrails. This role is central to advancing procurement maturity, improving cycle times, strengthening audit readiness, and enabling efficient supplier engagement at scale. You Will - Lead a risk-tiered procurement operating model for low-dollar, low-complexity spend, leveraging offshore delivery teams for scale and efficiency. - Oversee high-volume buying and PR operations, ensuring alignment with Legal/Finance policies, approval thresholds, and escalation protocols. - Standardize end-to-end procurement processes, including intake, negotiation guardrails, approval matrices, and cross-functional handoffs. - Own and optimize PR intake, review, and approval workflows to ensure policy compliance, budget alignment, and strong internal controls. - Establish governance, reporting, and analytics to drive compliance, cost visibility, performance management, and executive decision-making. - Manage supplier onboarding operations end-to-end, including due diligence, compliance screening, documentation, and system enablement in partnership with Legal, Finance, and Risk. - Own Procurement Operations SOPs, ensuring ongoing accuracy, version control, and alignment with policy, systems, and regulatory requirements. - Drive operational excellence through BPO/vendor oversight, training, performance management, and continuous improvement across procurement processes and teams You Have - 12+ years of experience in procurement operations, shared services, sourcing operations, or related functions within complex, global, or regulated environments. - Demonstrated experience partnering cross-functionally to operationalize procurement and financial control frameworks. - Deep knowledge of end-to-end procure-to-pay (P2P) workflows, including operational buying models, PR governance, supplier onboarding, and audit controls. - Proven experience governing global Procurement BPO or shared services models, including offshore delivery. - Experience designing and operating low-dollar, low-risk procurement models using standardized playbooks and clearly defined escalation thresholds. - Proven capability developing SOPs, operational documentation standards, and structured training programs at scale. - Strong executive presence with the ability to influence and drive outcomes through collaboration. - Proficiency with procurement orchestration platforms, ERP systems, and supplier onboarding tools. As we scale, we are seeking a Manager, Procurement to support the development and execution of our procurement-as-a-service pillar—from strategy through client delivery. This role spans three interconnected functions: upstream GPO and distribution sourcing strategy, industry relations across Coral’s contract and data portfolio, and end-to-end customer management from acquisition through account growth. Over time, this individual will support in building and scaling a standalone sourcing and procurement-as-a-service offering for organizations looking to fully outsource industry relations and centralized procurement to Coral.
