Title: Senior Sales Operations Manager Location: Herndon, VA/DC Area Type: Full-Time Reporting to: Sr. Manager, Sales Operations Scope of Role The Senior Sales Operations Manager is an experienced individual contributor responsible for optimizing and supporting the company’s Go-To-Market (GTM) processes. This role supports complex sales cycles, government procurement processes, and compliance requirements. The Manager ensures data integrity and process optimization across platforms like Salesforce, HubSpot, and Technomile while driving process improvements and managing cross-functional projects. You will collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Services, Finance, and other stakeholders to define system requirements, enhance workflows, and deliver actionable insights to support strategic priorities. *No sponsorship offered for this position. Primary Revenue Operations Focus Areas: - Top-of-Funnel Strategy - Lead Management - Marketing and Demand Generation - Inside Sales - Business Development - Data Hygiene and Enrichment - Partner Onboarding - Partner Deal Registration Responsibilities - Serve as a subject matter expert for Salesforce.com, and related tools including Hubspot, Technomile, ZoomInfo and Sales Engagement platforms (Gong, Outreach). - Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and drive improvement projects from concept to execution, including thorough testing of system changes. - Oversee the configuration, maintenance, and optimization of Sales tools, acting as the primary point of contact for questions and enhancement ideas. - Understand how SFDC workflows support GTM processes and how to optimize data capture and reporting needs. - Develop documentation and support materials that define process and expectations for use of system, tools, or general rules of engagement - Support specialized in-depth data analysis activities using tools like Salesforce, and Excel to support sales performance and strategic goals. - Drive automation initiatives to streamline complex deal structures and procurement workflows unique to government and enterprise clients. - Support training and change management efforts to ensure user adoption of new systems, tools, or processes. Requirements - Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience). - Minimum of 4 years of experience in Sales Operations, Business Operations, or Business Systems, with at least some experience with government clients. - Advanced proficiency in Salesforce.com, including CPQ, data models, reporting, and dashboards. A Salesforce Administrator certification is a plus but is not required as we have a team of Admins in house. - Experience implementing and maintaining other sales tools such as Hubspot and TechnoMile. - Experience with government procurement processes, including RFPs. - Experience with Channel-driven sales models. - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; SOQL or SQL skills are an advantage. - Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders across various departments and levels. - Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to prioritize competing demands in a fast-paced, regulated environment. - Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive business data. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is: $126,300.00-161,200.00 USD The actual salary offered may vary within the range based on a candidates' unique experience, locale, and business needs.
