The Ads Data Science and Engineering team at Netflix’s mission is to help build the foundation of the ads business at Netflix. We conduct analyses and develop analytic tools, build predictive models and algorithms using machine learning, all with the goal of creating more choices and joy for our members. As a Senior Analytics Engineer, you’ll design metrics, generate insights by scoping and executing deep dive analysis, and provide recommendations from a rigorous evaluation of product experiments. You’ll work closely with partner teams to build workflows, provide recommendations and drive success on end-to-end analytics initiatives in this 0 -1 space. This is an exciting opportunity to be a founding member of this new business area for Netflix! Responsibilities - Be a strategic partner for the business: Identify opportunities and create solutions to automate and scale ad hoc requests - Spearhead the creation of metrics that provide insight and help with decision-making - Develop high-impact dashboards and analyses to build visibility into the health of our ad platform, ad operations, and lead efforts to scale reporting through automation - Facilitate information self-service to business users through data pipelines and custom analytic tools Qualifications - Expertise in SQL, programming skills (e.g. Python, Scala), and some exposure to ETL and data warehousing concepts - A senior analytics professional with a proven track record of data analysis, reporting and visualization (e.g. Preset, Tableau) - A strong communicator with the ability to build meaningful stakeholder relationships - Enthusiastic about innovating in a fast-paced data and analytics space - Excited to learn about new fields, with the ability to be scrappy as needed - Comfortable with ambiguity; able to thrive with minimal oversight and process Generally, our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $330,000.00 - $566,000.00. This compensation range will vary based on location. Netflix provides comprehensive benefits including Health Plans, Mental Health support, a 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer match, Stock Option Program, Disability Programs, Health Savings and Flexible Spending Accounts, Family-forming benefits, and Life and Serious Injury Benefits. We also offer paid leave of absence programs. Full-time hourly employees accrue 35 days annually for paid time off to be used for vacation, holidays, and sick paid time off. Role Description AKIVA is seeking a Workforce Analytics and Reporting Specialist to produce the data, dashboards, and reports that demonstrate AKIVA's performance against contractual service levels and provide the client with clear, actionable insight into their contingent workforce. This role translates raw staffing, payroll, and compliance data into monthly status reports, KPI scorecards, and ad-hoc analyses required by the contract. AKIVA pairs this role with AI-assisted analytics and natural-language-to-SQL tools that accelerate reporting automation and narrative generation. Key Responsibilities - Produce the monthly and quarterly performance reports required by the contract, including placements, SLA attainment, fill rates, time-to-fill, time-to-start, and contractor attrition. - Build and maintain dashboards that track response and placement SLAs in near-real time, and proactively flag risks to the Account Manager. - Prepare financial and utilization reports, including billable hours by department, overtime analysis, budget burn, and forecast versus actuals. - Produce compliance and audit reports (I-9 status, background clearance status, required training completion) in partnership with the Compliance and Payroll Specialist. - Respond to ad-hoc data requests from client stakeholders within agreed-upon turnaround times. - Continuously improve reporting automation using the ATS, timekeeping system, and business intelligence tools, and reduce manual report build time. - Conduct quarterly workforce trend analyses to inform sourcing, pricing, and capacity planning. - Present findings during quarterly business reviews and working sessions with client HR and Finance. Qualifications - 4 to 7 years of reporting, analytics, or workforce operations experience, preferably in staffing, HR shared services, or public-sector contracting. - Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; working proficiency in SQL and at least one BI platform (Power BI or Tableau). - Experience extracting data from ATS and timekeeping platforms (for example Bullhorn, iCIMS, VNDLY, BeeLine, Kronos, ADP, Paychex). - Strong understanding of staffing KPIs, SLA measurement, and public-sector contract performance reporting. - Exceptional attention to detail, data governance awareness, and data storytelling ability. - Clear written communication, with the ability to translate analytics into narrative insights for non-technical client leaders. - Must be authorized to work in the United States.
