Senior Analytics Engineer

• Leads analytics engineering and analytics‑ready data architecture across GXG for Government clients • Lead the development, implementation, and governance of analytics engineering standards and best strategic practices influencing enterprise delivery • Design and maintain highly reliable, standardized data models, transformation logic, and validation frameworks for customer analytics delivery • Own the analytics-engineering layer for our advanced analytics platforms, transforming product-delivered data into analytics-ready delivery • Act as GXG’s senior advisor for complex customer data integrations and technical decision-making • Define reusable integration patterns, templates, and documentation to support scalable delivery, reducing ambiguity and startup time • Define and evolve GXG processes for data quality, QA, backfills, and release coordination. Monitor and resolve data quality and consistency issues to ensure data structures support dashboards, metrics and client outcomes • Triage data issues within GXG and coordinate clearly scoped escalations to Product teams when required • Provide strategic input on analytical methodologies, measurement frameworks, and best practices. • Improve organizational team efficiency by identifying systemic data challenges and driving durable, scalable solutions

Job Requirements

  • 8 + years of experience in analytics engineering, data analytics, or business intelligence, supporting analytics delivery in complex, cross‑functional environments; experience with web analytics, digital marketing data, or government technology preferred, working with external clients
  • Advanced SQL and strong analytics‑ready data modeling skills
  • Subject‑matter expertise with the ability to define and influence best practices at an organizational level
  • Demonstrated ability to define, communicate, and enforce analytics engineering methodologies at an enterprise scale, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and industry benchmarks
  • Strong understanding of cloud data ecosystems and upstream data pipelines
  • Exceptional data quality discipline, including validation, reconciliation, and auditability
  • Systems thinking mindset with comfort operating in ambiguous, high-complexity integration scenarios.
  • Clear technical communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
  • Proven experience developing dashboards and reporting solutions; Amazon QuickSight and Tableau is a plus.
  • Strong background in quantitative research and statistical analysis; qualitative research a plus.
  • Deep understanding of web analytics and behavioral data, including event‑based and engagement datasets from tools such as Google Analytics (GA4), Adobe Analytics, Siteimprove, or similar.
  • Experience integrating multi‑channel digital data sources, including email marketing platforms, social, surveys, and other emerging customer feedback and engagement channels.
  • Comfortable leading external client-facing workstreams
  • Experience and/or enthusiasm for working with government clients with passion for public service, citizen engagement, and communication.
