Associate Program Manager – Energy Efficiency

Resource Innovations

• Implement energy efficiency programs by supporting or leading data management, reporting, cross-team collaboration, and assisting with invoicing, accruals, and forecasting. • Engaging directly with contractors to support program participation • Deliver successful energy efficiency programs to utility client(s) per contract terms and program budgets. • Quantify, track and help drive program deliverables to be submitted accurately and on time. • Continuously assess project progress to goal and develop innovative and creative solutions to new issues and/or market dynamics. • Develop, manage, and foster partnerships with subcontractors, community groups, and other industry affiliates/stakeholders. • Manage client expectations, satisfaction, communications, and resolves and/or escalates client issues. • Interface with key internal departments such as IT, Marketing, Finance and HR to develop efficiencies to meet program needs. • Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, energy, engineering, or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred. Equivalent practical experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • At least 3 years’ experience in energy-efficiency or a related field required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools (Salesforce preferred)
  • Interest in sustainability and passionate about making a meaningful impact on the environment.
  • Technical experience with energy efficiency, energy efficiency audits or related technologies desired.
  • Excellent project management skills, including establishing job and work process flows
  • Detail oriented with the ability to multi-task while consistently meeting deadlines, maintaining accuracy, and staying within budget
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written), with excellent interpersonal and active listening skills
  • Positive, action-oriented attitude with initiative and creativity
  • Strong client service focus
  • Collaborative and team-oriented with the ability to work effectively across all levels of an organization
  • Technical understanding of building science or building systems (e.g., ductwork, HVAC, building envelope systems) is a plus.
