Job Description

Associate, Sales & Contract Operations

Cargill

• Provide basic knowledge of pricing and contracting activities • Assist in the coordination of process implementations and governance across contracts, pricing, and contracted volume and futures • Assist with master data stewardship, contract settlement, and communications with sales account managers, strategic pricing, and customers • Support various business segments, including products such as edible oils, sweeteners, cocoa, protein, and salt • Handle contract pricing requests based on customer supply agreements and spot market prices • Validate contract performance • Assist with new customer set up processes and validate customer master data • Assist with contract alignment to customer sales orders • Handle the less complex customer sample process • Develop knowledge of contract management processes to identify improvement opportunities • Handle basic issues and problems under direct supervision

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Experience ensuring data in internal systems is accurate and up to date
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Experience in complex multinational or matrixed organization (preferred)
  • Experience with Salesforce or a similar CRM system (preferred)
  • SAP experience (preferred)
  • Ability to effectively represent the business from a commercial perspective to customers
