Summary: Within the field services department, the incumbent’s primary responsibility is to ensure the installation and commissioning of OPTEL systems at client sites. They also play a key role in maintenance, training, and technical support to guarantee customer satisfaction and loyalty. Principal tasks: - Install OPTEL systems at client sites in accordance with established standards; - Carry out mechanical and electrical installation while ensuring compliance with quality standards; - Collaborate with the technical support and factory design team to diagnose and resolve issues; - Train end-users on the proper use of OPTEL systems; - Prepare complete and accurate installation reports; - Support clients during system qualification; - Perform maintenance and repair on installed systems, as requested by the customer service department; - Conduct engineering visits when required; - Produce detailed service reports; - Identify potential sales opportunities (new contracts, complementary systems). Requisite Skills: - College diploma in electronics, computer science, electromechanics, or related field, or equivalent experience; - Strong knowledge in computer science and electronics; - Experience in the pharmaceutical, food, or cosmetics industries (asset); - Hands-on experience in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, and/or electronic equipment; - Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to explain complex technical issues clearly; - Excellent time management, prioritization, and ability to work effectively under pressure; - Strong client orientation and solid teamwork skills; - Resourcefulness, adaptability, versatility, and flexibility; - Availability to travel approximately three weeks per month; - Valid driver’s license and passport; - High curiosity and willingness to learn and adopt new technologies, particularly artificial intelligence.
