The opportunity You would participate in and lead radio system design work for a cross-functional engineering team to turn high-level market and product needs into concrete requirements for next-generation radio products. Role Description AdvanTEC is a premier team of Building System Experts at Carrier Corp. This team, part of Carrier Commercial HVAC Engineering organization and the Global Enterprise Solutions team, develops, markets, and supports sales of innovative, intelligent building solutions. The AdvanTEC team creates and deploys rapid prototypes of solutions that solve customer problems and leverage the broad portfolio of Carrier products and expertise. Reporting to the Associate Director of the North America AdvanTEC team, this position will require a hands-on, self-starting person responsible to support Global Enterprise Solutions team and the Key Account Managers in North America sales team in the creation and sale of innovative new solutions. This position will also require working in close collaboration with Carrier business units for the sale and deployment of solutions in customer’s buildings primarily in the Americas and globally as needed. • Pre-sales - assistance in qualifying sales leads from a technical standpoint. • Sales calls - be the main technical resource on sales calls and answer/ educate the customer on issues ranging from features, specifications and functionality to integration. • Conversant with networking applications and solutions. • Post-sales - be the lead technical contact for identified accounts for technical issues and will work closely with the technical support team and engineering to answer, elevate and resolve customer's technical issues. • Provide assistance to identify customers with post-sales training.
