What to expect: As HR Assistant (Contract-Summer student), you are responsible for providing day-to-day support to the HR Team in the effective and timely delivery of various HR functions. This is 3 months contract (working remotely from your home in Canada) and functions include HR Administration, Recruitment and Selection, and HR-related projects. This includes: - Conduct background research and gather information to support HR projects, which may include Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, employee engagement, Wellness initiatives, and employee experience - Maintain employee records - Provide data administration support in UKG system - Assist in the recruitment and selection process to help attract the best possible candidate for open positions Other duties as assigned In this position, you will report to Human Resources Director and will be working remotely from your home office in Canada. CWB has adopted a remote-first working model, where employees will work from their home office, servicing the client within their specified areas either remotely or in person.
