Quality Engineer Location: Columbus, OH(Remote) Job Description: Akkodis is seeking a Quality Engineer for a Contract with a client in Columbus, OH(Remote). The ideal candidate with strong expertise in TOSCA automation, Jira, and risk‑based testing, leading complex projects while driving CI/CD efficiency and clear stakeholder communication. Rate Range: $37/hour to $39/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Quality Engineer Job Responsibilities include: - Plan, design, and execute comprehensive test strategies for integration and end‑to‑end testing to ensure application quality and business readiness. - Lead and coordinate testing efforts for complex projects with multiple dependencies, mentoring and supporting App Suite Quality Engineers. - Perform risk‑based testing, test automation, and performance testing to improve coverage, efficiency, and speed to delivery. - Develop and maintain automated test scripts using TOSCA, and manage test cycles, defects, and reporting through Jira. - Manage test data and test environments while supporting CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing. - Communicate test progress, risks, and quality metrics clearly to stakeholders using strong written and verbal communication skills. Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. - 6-8 years of experience in software quality engineering and test leadership roles. - Proven experience as a Test Lead managing integration and end‑to‑end testing for complex applications with multiple dependencies. - Hands‑on expertise in TOSCA test automation and Jira, with strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with technical and business stakeholders.
