Proof of citizenship status will be required at time of hire.” This is a 24x7 environment and on-call work is expected About the Role Alight is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Application Support Engineer (.NET & Kentico) to join our Application Support team. This role is focused on ensuring the ongoing stability, performance, and reliability of our enterprise web applications built on the Kentico platform using .NET technologies. The ideal candidate will bring strong problem‑solving skills, deep technical troubleshooting experience, and a customer‑centric mindset. You will support critical business applications, collaborate closely with development teams, and act as a key technical point of contact for the Sales and Service Center (.COM portal users). Responsibilities - Serve as the primary technical point of contact for the Sales & Service Center (SSC) regarding .COM portal issues and functionality questions. - Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve application incidents, performance issues, code-level defects, and platform-related problems across .NET, Kentico, and related components. - Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement fixes or workarounds to restore service quickly. - Investigate and resolve content integration issues within the Kentico CMS environment. - Support integrations with downstream systems, including CRM tools (preferably Microsoft Dynamics CRM), APIs, and shared services. Requirements - 3-5 years of experience in .NET and web technologies, with at least 5 years in ASP.NET/C# application development or support. - Knowledge of HTML, XML, CSS, and client‑side scripting frameworks. - Hands-on experience with Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, IIS, and related toolchains. - Expertise in ASP.NET MVC (4.0+), jQuery, Knockout.js, and modern web development principles. - Deep understanding of object-oriented design / architecture. - Technical capability in: Entity Framework, LINQ SQL Server (schema design, stored procedures, performance tuning) - Experience supporting or integrating with CMS platforms, preferably Kentico. - Familiarity with SOAP/XML Web Services, REST APIs, and JSON. - Experience in integrating web applications with CRM tools, preferably Microsoft Dynamics CRM. - Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. - Experience mentoring junior team members and providing technical guidance. - 3+ years in IT Application Support, preferably within a customer service–focused environment. Role Description We are seeking an Application Development Engineer with deep expertise in biaxially oriented films, flexible packaging, laminations, and web converting. This role partners directly with converters, processors, and brand owners to lead trials, solve technical challenges, and scale new applications. You will serve as the key technical link between customers, commercial teams, and internal R&D.
