The Director of Software Engineering will be responsible for leading and grow our dynamic software engineering teams. The role will have a strong focus on ecommerce, multiple technology stacks, and Microsoft .NET technologies and React. This role will be an agile practitioner; you will drive best practices in software development while fostering a people and culture-first environment. Job Duties & Responsibilities - Lead, mentor, and manage a diverse team of software engineers, promoting a collaborative and inclusive culture. - Drive the design, development, and delivery of scalable e-commerce solutions using Microsoft .NET and React. - Act as a hands-on technologist, contributing to code and architecture decisions across multiple technology stacks. - Proven leadership abilities in AI Engineering and organizational transformation. - Lead one or more agile development teams and take responsibility for team performance and project deliverables. - Implement and champion agile methodologies to improve team productivity and product quality. - Collaborate closely with product, design, and other stakeholders to align engineering efforts with business goals. - Leverage cloud technologies, particularly Microsoft Azure, build and maintain robust, scalable infrastructure. - Continuously evaluate and adopt new tools and technologies to enhance engineering capabilities. The typical base salary range for this position is $196,700 - $263,060 annually There is a different range applicable to specific work locations. In California and New York, and select cities in the metropolitan areas of Boston, Chicago, Seattle, and Washington DC, the base pay range for this role in those locations is $216,370 - $289,380 per year.
