Business Operations Specialist – Website Migrations

Pearster

• Coordinate and manage end-to-end website migration processes from existing e-commerce platforms to Wix. • Schedule and oversee migration activities, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations. • Maintain regular communication with customers to provide clear status updates, gather requirements, and confirm milestones. • Export inventory, customer, and transactional data from the source platform, ensuring correct file structure (CSV format) and data integrity. • Import and validate data in Wix Catalog and Wix Contacts, confirming successful integration and resolving any data or formatting errors. • Analyze and correct import/export issues by reviewing error reports and reprocessing data as needed. • Perform post-migration verification, including data reconciliation, record count confirmation, and functionality validation within Wix and Moneris Total Commerce. • Archive and document migration activities, maintaining detailed logs and supporting audit readiness. • Collaborate with Moneris and Wix support teams to resolve escalated technical issues promptly.

Job Requirements

  • Experience in migrating e-commerce websites from other platforms (e.g., Shopify, WooCommerce, Squarespace) to Wix.
  • Strong understanding or hands-on experience with Wix tools and website setup.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy when managing data in CSV or similar formats.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills for coordinating multiple client migrations.
  • Fluency in English and French (spoken and written); Spanish is a plus.
  • Ability to troubleshoot migration-related issues, identify root causes, and implement corrections efficiently.
  • Familiarity with data import/export procedures, data validation, and reconciliation practices.
  • Understanding of secure data handling and archiving standards.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and eager to learn in a fast-paced fintech environment.
