About the Role CharterUP is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with experience in marketplace, dynamic pricing, and auction-based systems to design, build, and evolve the core systems that power our two-sided marketplace. You’ll work closely with engineering leadership, product managers, and cross-functional teams to develop pricing, matching, and transaction systems that drive efficiency, liquidity, and growth. In this role, you’ll contribute to systems that handle real-time pricing, supply-demand balancing, and competitive bidding dynamics leveraging modern development practices and AI-assisted tools to improve decisioning, performance, and developer velocity. Title: Senior Software Engineer Reports to: Engineering Manager Location: Austin, TX (Hybrid: Monday, Wednesday, Friday in-office).
