• Lead the end-to-end design of learning programs: onboarding, product knowledge, role-specific skills, and manager development • Build engaging eLearning modules, job aids, facilitator guides, assessments, and blended learning experiences • Work directly with subject matter experts (trainers, product managers, CS leads) to translate role responsibilities, workflows, policies, and product usage into learner-centered training experiences • Apply adult learning principles and instructional design frameworks (ADDIE, SAM, or equivalent) to every piece of work • Build digital learning content using tools such as Articulate Storyline/Rise, Camtasia, or similar platforms. • Incorporate real‑world role scenarios and practice opportunities to reinforce learning transfer. • Establish and own our authoring tool workflow and content standards • Partner with our LMS admin to ensure content is well-structured, easily navigable, and maintained • Build templates and reusable assets that allow the team to produce content faster over time • Partner with HR Business Partners and business leaders to conduct learning needs analysis • Translate business problems into learning solutions — and push back clearly when training isn't the right answer • Present design proposals and work-in-progress to stakeholders and incorporate feedback effectively • Define success criteria for every program you design • Use learner feedback, completion data, and business outcomes to iterate and improve content • Contribute to building a measurement framework for the wider L&D function • Maintain and update learning content to reflect evolving processes, systems, and role expectations
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of instructional design experience, ideally in a SaaS, tech, or professional services environment
- Proficiency with at least one major authoring tool (Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate, or equivalent)
- Strong grasp of adult learning theory and practical experience applying different design methodologies
- Experience conducting learning needs analysis and translating findings into a content plan
- Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work independently without a lot of structural support
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills — you'll be working closely with non-L&D people constantly
- A portfolio of work that demonstrates range: eLearning, facilitator-led content, job aids, and ideally some blended programs
- Experience in HR software, HCM, or a similarly complex B2B product environment
- Familiarity with LMS administration (not a requirement, but useful in our current setup)
- Experience building content for both internal audiences and external customers/clients
- Some exposure to learning analytics or evaluation frameworks (Kirkpatrick or similar)

Our bilingual Lead Professional Learning Specialists (Lead PLS) facilitate high-quality professional development across two complementary literacy programs (one English, one Spanish) for teachers and school leaders. Lead PLS also coach and support a cohort of approximately 20 bilingual Professional Learning Specialists (PLS) to deliver exceptional professional development throughout the year. This highly visible role translates strategy into execution by building structured training plans, producing clear communications and job aids, facilitating live enablement sessions, and establishing a predictable operating rhythm for managers and employees. The contractor partners closely with U.S.-based People leaders and the Manila People Development team to ensure scalable delivery, audit readiness, and consistent adoption across a multi-market organization.
