Job Description
Vertical Account Executive
Loop
• You will be Loop’s first Account Executive dedicated to vertical expansion, helping define where and how Loop wins next. • Lead a 0-1 sales motion, identifying the right merchant entry points to unlock long-term expansion, while actively shaping GTM strategy for new and existing Loop products. • Learn how merchants make decisions and what they value, then turn that insight into clear, confident selling. • Work effectively in ambiguity, helping shape the playbook instead of waiting for one. • Act as the voice of new verticals, feeding real-world insights back to Product, Marketing, Merchant Success, and Leadership to shape what we build and how we go to market. • Navigate complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders with different priorities. • Partner with cross-functional teams to test, refine, and evolve our sales motion as we learn what works (and what doesn’t). • Take full ownership of opportunities from first conversation through long-term growth. • Maintain clean, reliable CRM data and forecasts, even as things change. • You can expect to travel 1-2 times domestically per quarter to various events or offsites.
Job Requirements
- 4-6 years of SaaS sales experience, demonstrating a track record of growth and consistent success.
- You’re energized by building from scratch and don’t need everything to be clearly defined to get started.
- You approach problems from the ground up and aren’t afraid to build new paths when existing playbooks don’t fit.
- You can clearly explain how you run deals, forecast, and manage your pipeline.
- You’ve partnered closely with cross-functional teams and know how to pull the right people in at the right time.
- You have experience with sales tools like Salesforce, Gong, Clari, Outreach.io, and Clay.
- You care about clean data and strong CRM hygiene, even when things are moving fast.
- You’re naturally curious and enjoy learning new industries and business models.
- If you have experience working with Shopify, ecommerce, and/or the post-purchase ecosystem, that is a huge plus for us!
- You’ve worked at a startup company (or a few) and know what it means to make it through the various stages of rapid growth.
