Technical Writer I, Knowledge Management Location: US, Remote Omnicell Outpatient Pharmacy Services, has a dynamic opportunity for a Technical Writer who will join our team that develops, publishes, and maintains content for our Specialty Pharmacy and 340B TPA teams. This individual will participate throughout the content-publishing workflow and the ongoing quality control of the department’s content. The successful candidate must have strong technical and content development skills with the ability to explain complex concepts to diverse audiences. Responsibilities: - Support day-to day tasks to include the review, editing and approval of knowledge content for internal and external audiences - Serve as an advocate for content standards, style guidelines and best practices - Develop and edit internal policy and procedure documentation for Specialty Pharmacy and 340B teams - Gather information from multiple resources to establish and understand the enhancements for each new release of all products; partnering with product teams to ensure documentation remains current across release cycles - Collaborate with Specialty Pharmacy and 340B Training as well as other Learning and Development team members to create and/or capture necessary graphics, including product screen captures, photos, process-flow charts, and engineering diagrams to insert into user documentation - Continuously collaborate with pharmacy operations and training teams to ensure they have the necessary knowledge content required to support and resolve internal and external informational needs. Includes but is not limited to authoring and publishing SOPs, Work Instructions, Process Flow Diagrams, User Guides, Job Aids, Playbooks, and FAQ documents - Monitor new technical publication, online help authoring tools, and industry best practices and proactively bring and execute product or process improvement recommendations to management - Take initiative and work independently to develop and execute complex projects and tasks which achieve company-wide and departmental goals, such as improving information access, increasing process efficiency, and reducing costs. Knowledge and Skills - Demonstrated writing skills producing content such as SOPs, Work Instructions, Process Flow Diagrams, User Guides, Job Aids, Playbooks, and FAQ documents. • Serve as the primary documentation partner for the Platform Engineering organization (DevOps, SRE, Infrastructure, CI/CD, Cloud, Internal Developer Platforms). • Research, write, and maintain technical documentation for APIs, platform systems, infrastructure components, and developer tools. • Document platform capabilities, service catalogs, golden paths, CI/CD templates, infrastructure standards, and internal developer workflows. • Create and update runbooks, standard operating procedures, and operational guides for platform engineering teams. • Develop and maintain developer onboarding guides, integration documentation, and technical FAQs. • Own and manage the structure of the IT Notion workspace, ensuring documentation is organized, discoverable, and standardized. • Create and maintain documentation templates, style guides, taxonomies, and governance practices for all engineering teams. • Ensure documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and versioned in alignment with product and platform releases. • Work within a docs-as-code workflow, managing documentation in Git-based repositories. • Participate in Agile ceremonies and manage documentation tasks within sprint cycles. • Review and edit technical content produced by subject matter experts for clarity, consistency, and completeness. • Proactively identify documentation gaps and establish documentation KPIs (adoption, completeness, freshness).

Role Overview: The Tech Lead is the most senior operational role on the support team and the primary point of escalation for all critical incidents. This is a hands-on role combining direct technical work with team coordination. The Tech Lead triages, assigns, and resolves the highest-complexity issues while ensuring overall queue health and SLA compliance.
