The Opportunity This position in the Core Laboratory Division, our diagnostic solutions are used in hospitals, laboratories and clinics around the globe. The crucial information derived from our tests, instruments and informatics systems are often the first step in patient care decision making for hundreds of health conditions from heart attacks to blood disorders to infectious diseases and cancers. As the Informatics Support Specialist, you will be the first-line support to provide hands-on resource to deliver complex configuration, integration, customer, and internal training mainly focused on troubleshooting services for AlinIQ products. What You’ll Do - Identify customer needs, propose solutions, manage, and resolve complex problems - Provide feature/ product enhancement input based on customer feedback - Maintain and assume accountability for a culture of high customer service - Provide comprehensive support for entire informatics solution. - Perform software-related installation and configuration processes. - Deliver structured software application product training to the end user. - Support post-sales informatics activities and provide expert knowledge. - Serves as level 1 complaint resolution via call centre phone support function Required Qualifications - Bachelors or master’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Medical or Hospital Informatics or related disciplines or relevant experience installing, configuring and/ or maintaining diagnostics laboratory informatics applications. Responsibilities: - Support day-to day tasks to include the review, editing and approval of knowledge content for internal and external audiences - Serve as an advocate for content standards, style guidelines and best practices - Develop and edit internal policy and procedure documentation for Specialty Pharmacy and 340B teams - Gather information from multiple resources to establish and understand the enhancements for each new release of all products; partnering with product teams to ensure documentation remains current across release cycles - Collaborate with Specialty Pharmacy and 340B Training as well as other Learning and Development team members to create and/or capture necessary graphics, including product screen captures, photos, process-flow charts, and engineering diagrams to insert into user documentation - Continuously collaborate with pharmacy operations and training teams to ensure they have the necessary knowledge content required to support and resolve internal and external informational needs.
