What You’ll Do: As an IT Systems Administrator, you’ll administrate servers and systems in our Microsoft, Government Community Cloud – High (GCC-H) environment. While overseeing our existing environment, you’ll also overlook the assessment, implementation, and administration of future technologies; to include Artificial Intelligence (AI) toolsets. You’ll work to maintain system uptime to ensure business systems are available. Responsibilities will also include server and systems patching, resolving issues, and inspect, maintain, and configure system toolset and logged events within our logging environment. Duties will also include the strict adherence to NIST 800-171 and Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) requirements. Responsibilities: Assist with the configuration, implementation, and administration of Microsoft AzureGov, O365-GCCH Exchange, MS Teams and SharePoint environments Assist with the configuration, implementation, and administration of Active Directory domain infrastructure Test, Configure, and Manage AI toolsets Assist with the configuration, implementation, and administration of Microsoft Windows and Apple iOS endpoint devices Assist with the configuration, implementation, and administration of Azure virtual and Meraki networks in a secure and compliant manner Perform necessary processes and documentation in order comply with regulatory requirements (NIST 800-171 / CMMC) and change control Assist in documenting and maintaining systems’ baselines and configuration standards Act as the point of contact for documenting, troubleshooting, and remediating discovered server or application anomalies Diagnose systems tickets accurately via phone, remote tools, and on location Act as an escalation point for help desk tickets for both systems and desktop support issues. Perform tasks as an individual contributor and as part of a project team Work with minimal supervision while maintaining a high quality of service Other duties as assigned Qualifications Advanced knowledge of Active Directory and Azure/O365 environments, preferably with AzureGov and O365-GCCH experience Expertise with Windows and iOS endpoint environments, preferably with Intune experience Experience with PowerShell scripting Experience with Networking (Meraki preferred) a plus Technical background reviewing and managing AI toolsets Ability to work within limitations of compliance frameworks, preferably with NIST 800-171, 800-53 or CMMC experience Linux server administration a plus Ability to effectively troubleshoot simple server- or access-related issues Flexibility in a dynamically changing environment, acknowledging urgency when necessary Must maintain a high level of confidentiality at all times along with the ability to properly handle sensitive materials concerning the organization Self-motivated and detail-oriented with excellent communications skills Ability to obtain a Secret Security clearance is required Minimum Experience and Education: Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline such as computer science, information technology, or computer engineering required.
