What You’ll Do: As an IT Systems Administrator, you’ll administrate servers and systems in our Microsoft, Government Community Cloud – High (GCC-H) environment. While overseeing our existing environment, you’ll also overlook the assessment, implementation, and administration of future technologies; to include Artificial Intelligence (AI) toolsets. You’ll work to maintain system uptime to ensure business systems are available. Responsibilities will also include server and systems patching, resolving issues, and inspect, maintain, and configure system toolset and logged events within our logging environment. Duties will also include the strict adherence to NIST 800-171 and Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) requirements. Responsibilities: Assist with the configuration, implementation, and administration of Microsoft AzureGov, O365-GCCH Exchange, MS Teams and SharePoint environments Assist with the configuration, implementation, and administration of Active Directory domain infrastructure Test, Configure, and Manage AI toolsets Assist with the configuration, implementation, and administration of Microsoft Windows and Apple iOS endpoint devices Assist with the configuration, implementation, and administration of Azure virtual and Meraki networks in a secure and compliant manner Perform necessary processes and documentation in order comply with regulatory requirements (NIST 800-171 / CMMC) and change control Assist in documenting and maintaining systems’ baselines and configuration standards Act as the point of contact for documenting, troubleshooting, and remediating discovered server or application anomalies Diagnose systems tickets accurately via phone, remote tools, and on location Act as an escalation point for help desk tickets for both systems and desktop support issues. Perform tasks as an individual contributor and as part of a project team Work with minimal supervision while maintaining a high quality of service Other duties as assigned Qualifications Advanced knowledge of Active Directory and Azure/O365 environments, preferably with AzureGov and O365-GCCH experience Expertise with Windows and iOS endpoint environments, preferably with Intune experience Experience with PowerShell scripting Experience with Networking (Meraki preferred) a plus Technical background reviewing and managing AI toolsets Ability to work within limitations of compliance frameworks, preferably with NIST 800-171, 800-53 or CMMC experience Linux server administration a plus Ability to effectively troubleshoot simple server- or access-related issues Flexibility in a dynamically changing environment, acknowledging urgency when necessary Must maintain a high level of confidentiality at all times along with the ability to properly handle sensitive materials concerning the organization Self-motivated and detail-oriented with excellent communications skills Ability to obtain a Secret Security clearance is required Minimum Experience and Education: Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline such as computer science, information technology, or computer engineering required. May substitute combination of vocational/technical education and 3+ years’ experience as an IT Systems Administrator. 3+ years of experience in the IT field (may include practicum or internship experience). Role Description Draken is looking for a skilled Computer Support Technician to support our Phantom Sky initiative in the United States. This role is ideal for a hands-on technical professional who can build, maintain, troubleshoot, and transport the Phantom Sky system end-to-end, from server configuration to trailer-mounted deployments. Our revolutionary new platform for supporting live-fly training with ground-based threat emitters is critical to units with a SEAD mission. Responsibilities - Build, configure, and maintain the Phantom Sky server and networked client workstations. - Conduct daily system checks to ensure console-to-emitter communications are functioning properly. - Troubleshoot issues across hardware, software, and network layers, including fielded systems. - Install patches, perform updates, and validate system stability after changes. - Collaborate with Draken software development team to refine features based on customer requirements. - Support future system enhancements including FAA radar feed ingestion and Link-16 integration. - Lead efforts to obtain and maintain an Authority to Operate (ATO) in both classified and unclassified environments. - Support physical setup, teardown, and movement of emitter systems—including trailer-based deployments. - Assist the ground support technician with routine site maintenance. - Participate in two one-week deployments per year (CONUS). Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience). - Experience with the Authority to Operate (ATO) approval process. - Expertise in DOW/COMSEC-related network security practices. - Hands-on experience with software or system integration. - Familiarity with Link-16, TDL principles, or tactical datalink environments. - Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Top Secret security clearance (TS eligibility required). - Valid U.S. driver’s license. - Ability to work day/night/weekend shifts and travel as required. Preferred Qualifications - Experience with containerized or virtualized environments (Docker, Kubernetes, VMware, etc.). - Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, routing, firewalls, VLANs) with ability to diagnose network-layer issues. - Experience performing patching cybersecurity scans, RMF documentation, or working within DoD cybersecurity frameworks. Our revolutionary new platform for supporting live-fly training with ground-based threat emitters is critical to units with a SEAD mission. At Draken, we have created a cost-effective system that integrates off-the-shelf commercial solutions to address the shortage of ground-based threat emitters. Our proprietary software enables remote control of emitters through a user interface that combines an air and ground picture that can be used for mission execution and debrief. Responsibilities - Provide White Force, SAM1, LVC, RTO support for live-fly training missions - Manage the budget for Fort Worth Phantom Sky Contract - Supervise ground support technician and computer support technician - Oversee emitter sites to ensure functionality and realistic threat replication - Supervise two deployments per year of Phantom Sky system and emitters Qualifications - Fighter Aircrew and SEAD experience - Must possess secret security clearance - Must possess a current/valid U.S. driver’s license - Must be able to work day shift, night shift, weekend shifts and/or travel as part of a team Requirements - Environment ranges from office to emitter sites located in the west Texas plains. - Extensive sitting to climbing, standing, stooping, bending, pushing, kneeling, stretching, and walking demands. - Must be able to climb stairs, ramps, ladders and work stands. - Regularly required to lift/carry up to 25 pounds, perform repetitive movements, and perform work from ground level to overhead.
