Responsibilities (EM) Client Leadership & Relationship Management - Serve as the primary point of contact for client executive stakeholders throughout the engagement lifecycle. - Build trusted advisor relationships, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and proactive communication. - Drive strategic discussions on project objectives, success measures, and long-term roadmap alignment. Program Oversight & Governance - Oversee all aspects of Workday implementation delivery, including project planning, resourcing, financial management, and risk mitigation. - Apply Meridian’s Workday Delivery Framework (MDF) and Workday Delivery Implementation Methodology to ensure consistent execution across all project phases. - Facilitate steering committee meetings, executive status updates, and issue/risk reviews. System Configuration & Testing - Configure the Workday Benefits module, including Health, Insurance, COBRA, and Retirement plans, based on approved design and union plan rules. - Ensure configurations reflect collective bargaining agreements (CBAs), local mandates, and public-sector benefits administration nuances. - Create configuration guides, unit test scripts, and participate in end-to-end testing cycles (SIT/UAT) in alignment with Meridian’s testing framework and deliverable standards. Implementation Methodology & Framework Alignment - Apply Meridian’s internal Workday Delivery Framework (MDF) and Workday Delivery Implementation Methodology (WDIM) across all phases. - Maintain project documentation, RAID logs, and deliverable quality in accordance with internal governance and QA checkpoints. - Support risk identification and mitigation planning in partnership with the Practice Director and Project Manager. Best Practices & Optimization - Provide expert guidance on Workday Benefits best practices, ensuring configuration aligns with delivered functionality and avoids unnecessary customization. - Participate in internal knowledge-sharing sessions and contribute to the Practice’s continuous improvement and innovation repository. Compliance & Policy Interpretation - Maintain a strong understanding of state and local union policies, collective bargaining agreements, and statutory benefits regulations (e.g., COBRA, ACA, FMLA, State Retirement). - Translate policy requirements into compliant configuration and business process design. - Serve as the internal SME for interpreting union-related benefits rules and ensuring configuration meets legal and contractual obligations.
