Transitions Quality Engineer

• The TQE supports Supply Chain’s Global Transitions team as a Quality leader for Global Transitions hardware from contract review phase to First Article Inspection approval • Mitigate risk proactively during using AS9145 tools as PFMEA, PFD, PCP, MSA and KPC Management • Review supplier compliance with applicable purchase orders / scheduling agreements, engineering drawings, specifications, and procedures • TQE drives robust RCCA from the transitions supplier when nonconformances and noncompliances occur to support a healthy quality signature and production readiness
Job Requirements
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
- minimum 8 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience
- Deep understanding of PW Quality Systems, ESA, MCL and manufacturing processes
- Demonstrated experience in developing supplier relationship and improving quality signature
- Knowledge and understanding of P&W products and services offered
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Net Inspect, SAP, Qlik, CORE tools

• Deliver high-quality products and services to our customers • Define, report, and prevent bugs in mobile department • Engage in testing activities from early development stages through to release, ensuring quality, functionality, and smooth deployment • Perform manual testing of web applications, including Microsoft Dynamics CRM, integrations (ChatGPT chatbot), and admin panel functionality (including permissions and feature changes) • Conduct API testing and validation using Postman • Analyze technical documentation to understand requirements, specifications, and expected system behavior • Investigate and troubleshoot user-reported issues, including participation in quarterly on-call rotations • Participate in planning sessions, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and grooming meetings to align scope, priorities, and timelines • Write and maintain test documentation (test cases and other QA artifacts)
