These include immersion-based study abroad experiences in over 40 countries worldwide; opportunities to host foreign AFS exchange students; and global learning workshops and curricula for educators, schools and businesses. Are you passionate about global education and cultural exchange? AFS-USA is seeking a dedicated Field Specialist to join our remote Field Team. You will work with staff and volunteers to achieve hosting goals and ensure compliance with regulations. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead strategic planning and execution for hosting and volunteer development Ensure timely, compliant placements for international exchange students. Provide coaching, support, and problem-solving guidance to volunteers. Lead and integrate volunteers in hosting processes. Support the Hosting Onboarding Unit. Manage hosting functions in volunteer teams. Serve as on-call Duty Officer on a rotating schedule for emergencies and urgent matters QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s Degree or 3+ years of relevant experience. Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills. Strong organizational skills and self-motivation. Experience with CRM and social media for business. WORK EXPECTATIONS: AFS USA work hours are generally from 9:00 am – 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday MST/PST.
