Your responsibilities will include: - Physician training: Conduct training for physicians on EP products and procedures; design, develop and plan training programs for healthcare professionals, together with Marketing / Business Unit Managers. - Clinical selling: Assist the sales team with hospitals in-lab-service; guide initial procedures conducted by newly trained healthcare professionals to assure successful outcome; promote adaptation to best demonstrated practices. - Advisor / expert of products: Act as consultant for healthcare professionals by providing solutions to medical, clinical and technical questions; recommend the best clinical solutions as part of product strategy; responsible for all clinical aspects of product evaluation and clinical trials; work closely with Marketing in the development of training materials. - Market development: growing the number of procedures through training and development of key centres / physicians: assist Business Unit Manager / Marketing Manager in assessment of potential new accounts; attend joint visits and provide in-lab-service at hospitals if necessary; present solution advantages in hospital level workshops. - Sales training: Assist procedures and product training programs for commercial teams; act as a contact person with regional / international training function and ensure maximum effectiveness of the division's sales effort; may train new hires as required and co-visit hospitals and co-hold hospital level workshops. - KOL relationship management: As a key member of the national sales team, maintain KOL relationships and possible COE centres. - As an interface between clients and customer service, you are responsible for facilitating the sharing of documents and processes to identify, notify and ensure any complaints or problems are addressed, thereby demonstrating a high commitment to Quality in all interactions and behaviours. - Drive as needed to support and facilitate any field corrective actions as required. - Assure that appropriate resources (personnel, tools, etc.) are maintained to Quality System compliance and adhere to the BSC Quality Policy. - Establish and promote a work environment that supports the Quality Policy and Quality System. - This remote field-based role requires frequent weekly travel (approx. 60%) across South UK based on customer and team needs. - Occasional weekend work may be required. About the Role The CRM (Cardiac Rhythm Management) Field Clinical Specialist will provide expert clinical product and technical assistance and training to physicians, CRM Lab Staff, and sales representatives on the effective and safe use of the CRM systems during case procedures within an assigned geography, and in a manner that leads to meeting and exceeding business goals. In this role, you will be responsible to: - Serve as primary resource for clinical support in the areas of case coverage, basic troubleshooting, system/software development. - Educate customers and internal Boston Scientific employees on the merits and proper clinical usage of CRM devices by giving presentations and demonstrations using a wide variety of formats and platforms (e.g., slides, transparencies, manuals) to keep all abreast of the latest product and technology developments. - Attend cases in labs of hospital accounts for case support and development efforts of CRM system and its components. - Provide initial and continuous, as needed, training and feedback for development team and sales representatives (as appropriate) on CRM system, development process, products and features, and procedures involving those products and features. - Meet with existing and potential clients (e.g., physicians, physician office groups at hospitals) by traveling (in an automobile or airplane) to identify their clinical needs, goals, and constraints related to patient care and to discuss and demonstrate how company products can help them to achieve their goals. - Develop relationships with hospital personnel (e.g. through casual conversation, meetings, participation in conferences) to make new contacts in other departments within hospital and to identify key decision makers in order to facilitate future sales. - Respond to customer needs and complaints regarding products and service by developing creative and feasible solutions or working with other related personnel (e.g., sales, clinical research, marketing, technical support) to develop optimal solutions. What are we looking for in you: - We are open to welcoming newly graduated Biomedical students or young professionals with minimum experience (6 months to 1 year) in a similar role, preferably within the cardiology area. - Experience in international markets would be a plus. - Exposure to the Cardiac Rhythm Management market would be a plus. - Strong communication skills. - Ability to understand and communicate complex technical and clinical details. - Fluent in English (B2 or higher).
