Execution Lead (Cross-Functional PM)
59 PinesWe're a credible, funded, remote-first startup led by a serial technical founder, and backed by a 20-person team. The product is live in private alpha.
Job Description We're hiring an Execution Lead (cross-functional PM) to keep the company executing as a unified system — not a pile of parallel work streams. Summary - Flexible Title: Can tailor to reflect your skills & experience. - Flexible Time: Full-time, part-time, side-gig (off-hours), or fractional (contract). - Flexible Commitment: Short-term, long-term, or intermittent. Why so flexible? We're a funded startup racing to launch in a few months. Jump in to help us ship, then stay or go — a strong launch creates room for permanent roles. We also value long-term side-gig relationships; a few expert hours often beat full-time ramp-up. About Us We're a funded, remote-first startup led by a serial technical founder, with a ~30-person team. The product in private alpha launching soon. More at list-lab.org. About The Role Cross department operations-minded project manager: you keep work moving, make priority, status, ownership, scope, and delivery dates legible with low friction, and manage expectations so leadership and ICs share one reality. You report directly to the CEO and partner daily with engineering, marketing, product, and GTM leads on plans, compromises, and delivery. You surface handoffs, dependencies, and escalation paths before they become crises — using milestones, critical-path thinking, RAID, and lightweight change control (scope/date shifts get recorded and communicated, not side-channel whispers). You are technically literate, a digital native, and hands-on with AI for planning, comms, and synthesis — with judgment on accuracy, confidentiality, and sign-off. You are not a passive coordinator or process monitor. You are a hands on operator turning vague asks into clear directives, facilitating stuck decisions, and following through. You are a force-multiplier and catalyst for progress. Scope you don’t own: - product strategy / roadmap calls - people management for other functions - code or design approval Scope you do own: - execution clarity - timelines - stakeholder communication - knowledge sharing & alignment - steer the right information to the right people at the right time, and routing blockers to the right decision-maker What Success Looks Like in 30 Days - Teams express clarity and confidence in who is doing what by when - Top initiatives have honest status in one place, with a lightweight RAID/issues habit and clean escalations - Kickoffs / decision forums and a few templates (decision log, exec rollup) have cut thrash What You'll Do - You help catalog, structure, and assign ownership to new ideas that emerge through RACI/DACI-style clarity. - Adapt and improve upon existing processes and systems adding lightweight rituals and tools as needed so departments stay organized without drag - Run cross-functional delivery — explicit handoffs across engineering, marketing, product, GTM, ops; nothing waits on “someone should…” - Plan and visualize — milestones, dependencies, critical path; Gantt/roadmap-style views when they help alignment - Clear blockers and risks early — missing inputs, conflicts, externals; escalate with tradeoffs when leadership must decide - Facilitate planning and decision meetings; keep them outcome-oriented - Operating rhythm — agendas, async updates, retros/postmortems when useful; documentation that outlasts the meeting - Vendors/tooling — coordinate outside help and sensible tool onboarding where it speeds the org - AI + stack — accelerate docs, plans, and comms; protect quality and sensitive info What We're Looking For Must have - Mid-senior experience (5+ years) in PM, program, or ops execution in fast, ambiguous environments - Startup/high-growth comfort - Highly organized — you model systems others can actually follow - Technical literacy — tickets/specs, high-level eng/product discussion, sharp questions - Remote stack fluency for async collaboration e.g. Slack, Notion, Linear/Jira, ClickUp Nice to have - Software developer/engineering experience (you are not here to ship product code) - Product management experience - Agencies, vendors, fractional coordination

Build a Safer World. TRM Labs provides blockchain analytics and AI solutions to help law enforcement and national security agencies, financial institutions, and cryptocurrency businesses detect, investigate, and disrupt crypto-related fraud and financial crime. TRM’s blockchain intelligence and AI platforms include solutions to trace the source and destination of funds, identify illicit activity, build cases, and construct an operating picture of threats. TRM is trusted by leading agencies and businesses worldwide who rely on TRM to enable a safer, more secure world for all. TRM Labs' BLOCKINT Public Sector team builds the blockchain intelligence capabilities that power investigations and threat detection for federal, state, and law enforcement agencies. As a Senior Product Manager, you will own the product roadmap for intel density — driving the features and data strategies that help national security customers trace, analyze, and act on blockchain activity faster than ever before. You will operate at the intersection of AI-native product development and mission-critical public sector delivery, partnering closely with engineering, BI, and go-to-market teams to ship high-impact capabilities at startup speed. The impact you will have: - Use Claude and internal AI copilots to draft, iterate, and finalize product requirements documents and PRDs in under half the time, freeing capacity to spend more hours in direct customer discovery sessions with public sector agencies - Leverage TRM's AI-powered analytics platform (Orion) to synthesize blockchain intelligence data into actionable feature hypotheses, reducing insight-to-specification cycle time from weeks to days - Deploy Claude to rapidly analyze large volumes of customer feedback transcripts, support tickets, and UserVoice submissions, producing prioritized feature themes that directly inform quarterly roadmap planning - Use AI summarization tools (Claude, Notion AI) to auto-generate stakeholder-ready briefs after every cross-functional sync, ensuring engineering, design, and go-to-market teams stay aligned without additional meeting overhead - Leverage Claude Code and internal prototyping tools to create interactive wireframe mockups and data flow diagrams during sprint planning, accelerating alignment between product and engineering on complex BLOCKINT workflows - Own the end-to-end product strategy for BLOCKINT public sector capabilities, translating classified and unclassified mission requirements into a roadmap that balances near-term agency deliverables with long-term platform scalability - Use AI-assisted competitive intelligence workflows (Claude + web research) to continuously monitor the regtech and blockchain analytics landscape, surfacing emerging threats and positioning gaps to leadership within 48 hours of market shifts - Drive adoption and retention metrics across federal, state, and law enforcement accounts by partnering with customer success and field teams to identify friction points and ship targeted product improvements each quarter What we're looking for: - 5+ years of product management experience in enterprise SaaS, ideally serving government, defense, or national security customers - Demonstrated AI fluency with concrete examples of using Claude, Copilot, or similar AI tools to accelerate spec writing, customer feedback synthesis, competitive analysis, and stakeholder communication in a PM workflow - Proven ability to use AI-assisted prototyping tools (e.g., MagicPatterns, Figma AI, Claude Code) to rapidly iterate on product concepts and reduce design-to-spec cycle time - Experience building and shipping data-intensive or analytics products, with the ability to use AI-powered data tools to define success metrics and measure feature adoption across customer segments - Strong written communication skills, with a track record of leveraging AI writing tools to produce clear product specs, stakeholder briefs, and go-to-market materials at high velocity - Customer-focused with empathy and active listening skills to understand public sector personas, mission workflows, and operational pain points — including in sensitive or classified settings - Comfortable with ambiguity and rapid scope changes in a fast-paced startup environment; strong bias for shipping V1 and iterating About the Team: - The Product Management team is composed of experienced PMs who have a strong track record of success at high-growth startups and are comfortable getting in the weeds to execute while we scale - We are building out the team with A-players who bring creativity, grit, and deep domain expertise in public sector, blockchain intelligence, and AI-native product development - We are not a hierarchical organization — everyone on the team dives in wherever needed, and ownership is the default operating mode - F.A.C.E. (Focus, Accountability, Consistency, Execution) is how we measure our impact every week Team Operating Rhythms: - Distributed, not distant: the team works across US time zones with a preference for EST overlap to align with DC-based agency stakeholders - Async-first communication via Slack and Notion, with structured syncs for sprint planning, product council, and cross-functional alignment - Weekly Prod/Eng syncs, bi-weekly roadmap reviews, and regular customer discovery sessions to keep the feedback loop tight - High-velocity shipping cadence with clear ownership: every feature has a single PM accountable for spec-to-production delivery Learn about TRM Speed in this position: - Within your first 30 days, you will draft and gain approval on your first product spec, using Claude to synthesize customer feedback and BI data into a V1 feature proposal that moves into engineering design review - Within 60 days, you will ship 2-4 product features end-to-end and independently manage multiple features in design and development simultaneously, demonstrating you can navigate TRM's shipping framework at full speed - Within 90 days, you will independently own a BLOCKINT feature set, present a long-term roadmap to leadership, and run customer discovery sessions with national security stakeholders without support from your manager Life at TRM We are building a safer world. That promise shows up in how we work every day. TRM moves quickly. We are a high velocity, high ownership team that expects clarity, follow-through, and impact. People who thrive here are energized by hard problems, experimentation, and continuous feedback. If something takes months elsewhere, it will ship here in days. Our work sits at the intersection of AI, national security, and fighting financial crime. The problems are complex, the stakes are real, and the environment evolves quickly. The pace and intensity of the work reflect the importance of the mission. As a result, the way we operate requires a high level of ownership, adaptability, collaboration, and creative problem-solving. At TRM, you should expect: - Priorities and targets to change quickly as we experiment and iterate - Work that often requires operating with a high degree of ambiguity - A high level of personal ownership and accountability - Close collaboration across teams and functions - Frequent, high-touch communication - Creative problem solving and out-of-the-box thinking - A pace that rewards urgency, adaptability, and outcomes This environment is energizing for people who enjoy building, solving hard problems, and making progress in situations that are not always fully defined. It also requires comfort navigating ambiguity, adjusting course as new information emerges, and maintaining focus and positivity in a fast-moving and intense environment. If you are primarily optimizing for predictability or a consistently balanced workload, we encourage you to use the interview process to pressure test whether this environment is truly the right fit.
