Job Description

Integration Architect

J4RVIS

Integration Architect We're looking for an Integration Architect to own solution design across integration projects — someone who can translate complex business requirements into practical, scalable architectures, and who takes pride in the quality and governance of everything they deliver. This is a hands-on architecture role with real delivery accountability. You'll own integration solution design from end to end, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture principles, security and performance standards, and client business goals. You'll work closely with delivery teams, functional consultants, and client stakeholders, and play an active role in uplifting the technical capability of developers around you. You will act as a trusted technical advisor, governance anchor, and capability builder for the integration practice. There is also an active commercial dimension to this role. You will contribute to pre-sales discovery and scoping as a named responsibility, helping shape proposals, validate integration complexity, and support the team in winning and setting up large engagements for success. Key Responsibilities - Design scalable, secure, and maintainable integration solutions aligned to client requirements and enterprise architecture principles - Define integration patterns and approaches that fit within clients' broader technology ecosystems and long-term roadmaps - Promote and enforce integration design standards across projects — security, performance, error handling, and API-led connectivity - Support and guide delivery teams through integration projects, ensuring quality, timelines, and scope expectations are met - Contribute architectural input to discovery, scoping, and estimation activities as a named responsibility on opportunities - Validate integration complexity and scope during presales to protect delivery margins and set realistic client expectations - Support the preparation of technical sections of proposals, including architecture diagrams, integration approach summaries, and effort estimates - Build trusted relationships with client stakeholders and act as a technical advisor throughout the engagement - Coach and mentor Associate and Senior Integration Developers, contributing to a high-capability, high-trust team - Contribute architectural input to discovery, scoping, and pre-sales activities Qualifications - 5+ years of integration development experience, with hands-on time in an architecture or design-lead capacity - Strong MuleSoft (Mule 4) and AnyPoint Platform experience. You're comfortable owning architecture decisions, not just implementing them - Solid grounding in API-led connectivity, security patterns (OAuth, JWT, TLS), and performance optimisation, and error handling design - Experience working in complex, multi-system environments with Salesforce as a central platform. You can reason about when to use MuleSoft versus cloud-native services or alternative middleware, and can design across a broader integration ecosystem - Strong communication skills and the ability to build genuine trust with client stakeholders - A mentoring mindset. You get energy from helping others grow, not just solving problems yourself Certifications - MuleSoft Developer certifications — required - MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect — strongly preferred - Salesforce integration experience — strongly preferred At J4RVIS, everyone has a purpose and everyone has a role no matter how big or small the role is. It's part of our DNA and part of our values. Additional Information WHY YOU SHOULD JOIN J4RVIS: Become better at what you do.
