Software Sales Engineer

One Identity

• Partner with Account Executives to drive deal cycles across industries and solve diverse mission-critical business problems. • Lead the technical discovery and qualification process of early opportunities, helping to uncover prospects/customers’ current pains and align with their business objectives. • Lead the technical elements within the sales cycle. This may include being part of the design, delivery and support of a technical proof of concept; creating technical proposals; responding to RFP/RFIs/Security Questionnaires/Technical Response Documents; attending sales meetings; leading workshops and providing technical expertise to demonstrate the One Identity products as an SME. • Collaborate with Product Management to provide consistent and actionable feedback based on customer interactions. • Partner with Product Marketing to help develop assets, knowledge base content and deliver training sessions to improve technical product knowledge of existing features to both customers and Account Executives. • Contribute to the success of a rapidly growing and evolving SE organisation. • Help onboard and enable partners with One Identity solutions.

Job Requirements

  • At least 5 years of Technical Solution Engineering/PreSales experience.
  • Experience deploying, managing and configuring SaaS, Hybrid and On-Premise solutions within the IAM space (e.g. Sailpoint, Saviynt, Cyberark, Okta, JumpCloud).
  • A good working understanding of SaaS, Hybrid and On-Premise deployment methodologies, with a strong foundation in SaaS.
  • Familiar with core web technologies: Ruby on Rails, Angular, Python, PHP, HTML/CSS, REST, and others.
  • Thorough understanding of the IT industry, competitive landscape and key technologies.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity practices in protecting systems, networks and digital identities.
  • An understanding of core security concerns within a typical application.
  • Familiar with the Digital Identity space and eager to learn more.
  • Familiar with enterprise level directory deployments and configurations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; a knack for delivering compelling presentations and product demonstrations to either external customers or internal teams.
