About this opportunity Join our team as a Regional Sales Manager for the Georgia Public Sector in a remote position based in Georgia. This role drives sales growth within an assigned territory, focusing on exceptional customer service and support. You will be responsible for new customer acquisition, customer retention, and expanding Ericsson Enterprise Wireless Solution's market presence through customer engagement, industry events, and channel partner collaboration. Working closely with the Inside Sales Team and Sales Engineering, you will lead territory strategy and deliver on growth targets serving state and local agencies (cities and counties) as well as educational institutions. What you will do - Achieve assigned sales quota quarterly through accurate forecasting, pipeline development, and business closure - Develop and execute a dynamic territory strategy to drive customer expansion across the Ericsson Enterprise Wireless portfolio, including WWAN, Private Cellular, and Neutral Host solutions - Conduct weekly pipeline reviews with sales leadership to define actions that drive profitable growth - Utilize company-provided sales tools and resources to develop effective prospecting plans while maintaining visibility with existing customers - Demonstrate responsiveness to both prospective and existing customers through documented sales activities - Proactively assess, clarify, and validate customer needs through technical updates and regular meetings - Coordinate involvement of company personnel, including support, service, and management resources, to exceed customer expectations - Maintain high customer satisfaction ratings that meet company standards - Utilize CRM for all aspects of account management, from lead generation to order completion - Travel to and participate in tradeshows, events, and channel and carrier networking sessions - Participate in required training and compliance programs - Maintain adherence to all company policies and procedures The skills you bring - Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of full-time technical and/or carrier sales experience in the public sector (state, local government, and education) - Demonstrated success in public sector sales, evidenced by customer portfolio - Recent documented experience managing SLED accounts in Georgia, including state agencies/departments, cities, counties, K-12, and higher education institutions - Strong experience and knowledge in WWAN and telecommunications - Experience with procurement vehicles/contracts specific to NASPO, GSA, and other purchasing vehicles - Experience in private cellular networks and neutral host (preferred) - Self-motivated with integrity and accountability; consistent track record of achievement in prior roles - Expertise in implementing and successfully driving channel sales models - Competitive and entrepreneurial mindset with ability to tackle challenging opportunities - Outstanding written and oral communication skills - Strong negotiation and leadership capabilities - Decisive problem-solving ability and capability to assess people and situations accurately - Ability to deliver clear and compelling value propositions to customers and partners - Demonstrated ability to contribute to a team-oriented environment - Must currently reside within Georgia Why join Ericsson?
