Role Description Provides leadership oversight for all SCM related matters for customer(s). - Provides direction for source selection and supports the effort to identify and develop suppliers to meet current and future business needs. - Supports efforts to reduce material cost and assess/respond to supply risks. - Advises the supply chain management process for customers from materials pricing and BOM analysis to delivery execution and flexibility performance. - Works cross functionally to optimize Design for supply chain performance of Celestica products. - Responsible for customer interface from SCM including relationship management and as focal point for all SCM related issues, strategies and requirements. - Maintains responsibility for a set of projects jointly developed by Celestica and customers. - Deploys systems and processes ensuring customer satisfaction. - Coordinates the response on all SCM customer enquiries. - Participates in business process improvements to help achieve inventory targets and maximize return on investment. - Interfaces with cross functional teams to ensure negotiations meet business requirements and growth plans. - Supports working capital assumptions in the quote process, and later leads SCM optimization efforts to achieve or exceed quoted turns and plan. - Drives customer engagement on demand planning, demand management, commitments, non-performing inventory and future process changes/improvements. - Provides direction and support to site teams on SIOP, GAP inventory reviews and Strategic inventory proposals to customers. - Reviews NPI BOMs and develops materials strategies. - Identifies SMI opportunities and drives implementation, management, and performance of established SMIs. - Drives localization and strategic sourcing activities for CLS-preferred suppliers. - Supports SIOP revenue forecasting and execution throughout product launch (NPI to MP). - Identifies SIOP demand-supply material shortages throughout product launch (NPI to MP). - Identifies and develops higher level assembly and integration strategies where applicable. - Coordinates 2nd sourcing qualifications and phase-ins. - Coordinates CLS intersite activities where applicable. - Provides strategic supply chain expertise, support and innovative solutions to internal SCM stakeholders and customers. - Has responsibility for supply chain strategy for customers within their market and drives the initiatives with sites to support customer and Celestica requirements. - Supports the SCM portion for the customer QBRs and with senior management at key/strategic suppliers, escalations and driving KPI improvement initiatives. - Supports the team to ensure contractual claims for SCM related costs are recovered (e.g. E&O claims, premium for shortage management, NRE) and follow up escalations with customers for resolutions. - Collaborates with customers on proposals, expedites and premiums and manages risks/liabilities for CLS, and provides guidance to ensure capacity is installed as needed. - Regularly interacts with executives and/or major customers. - Provides leadership in the analysis of cost customer bids or quarterly BOM Costing exercises for global customers. - Provides support to Commodity Management teams on contract negotiations. Role Description As the Logistics and Material Coordinator, reporting directly to the Logistics Director, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe, accurate, and efficient movement of materials between Vibrantz facilities. This position is responsible for: - Monitoring inventory levels of raw materials, packaging, and finished goods. - Coordinating intercompany shipments. - Arranging transportation. - Supporting warehouse operations in collaboration with third-party providers. - Adhering to Vibrantz safety procedures and ensuring accuracy in inventory and ERP transactions. - Assisting in training warehouse staff and resolving shipment discrepancies. - Working closely with the ERP support team to troubleshoot and correct transaction errors. Success in this position requires strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment. Qualifications - High school diploma or equivalent required. - Minimum of 1 year of experience in materials management. - Proficiency with computers and inventory management systems. - General typing and data entry skills. Requirements - Follow and monitor safety policies as outlined in Vibrantz’s Safety Procedures. - Adhere to safety procedures and work instructions as recorded in the Vibrantz Procedures. - Review the status of inventory to ensure safe stacking and storage of materials. - Inspect pallets, bulk sacks, and paper bags for safe and proper storage conditions. - Collaborate with the Warehouse Coordinator to maintain and reconcile inventory accuracy within the ERP system. - Ensure accuracy in inventory transaction data entry and compilation. - Verify the accuracy of bills of lading and order completion documentation. - Assist in training employees on the proper completion of required shipping and inventory paperwork. - Monitor inventory levels and initiate order requests for raw materials, packaging, and finished goods being transferred between Vibrantz facilities. - Arrange transportation for all materials shipped between Vibrantz locations. - Support daily warehouse operations in coordination with third-party logistics providers. - Manage and execute special projects, as assigned by leadership. - Review open order and inventory position reports for inter-facility shipments. - Partner with the ERP support team to ensure accurate transaction processing; identify and resolve errors when necessary.
