This role will be instrumental in driving regulatory compliance, operational excellence, and scalable solutions across global markets. As a key member of the Cities team, you will partner cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Legal, and Policy teams to design, implement, and optimize regulatory processes and products. This role requires a data-driven, entrepreneurial operator who thrives in ambiguity and can balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution. Key Responsibilities - Develop and scale operational processes to gather, verify, and maintain regulatory requirements across geographies - Analyze large datasets using SQL and BI tools to identify trends, risks, and compliance gaps - Build and maintain dashboards and reporting frameworks to monitor regulatory performance and outcomes - Design, validate, and optimize data pipelines and workflows supporting compliance initiatives - Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Legal, and Policy teams to deliver scalable, automated compliance solutions - Monitor program milestones, track performance, and communicate insights and recommendations to leadership - Act as a voice of the host experience, ensuring regulatory initiatives align with marketplace needs - Manage escalations, incidents, and inquiries related to regulatory operations and products Must-Have Skills - 5+ years of experience in regulatory operations, compliance, program management, or data analytics - Strong hands-on experience with SQL and data analysis (ability to work with large, imperfect datasets) - Proficiency in dashboarding/BI tools and reporting frameworks - Proven ability to manage cross-functional stakeholders and influence without authority - Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into actionable insights - Strong organisational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail - Ability to thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with a hands-on, ownership mindset Industry Experience - Preferred: Tech, marketplace platforms, gig economy, or evolving regulatory environments - Relevant experience in compliance, legal operations, or regulated industries - Experience working in dynamic, less-structured regulatory environments is highly valued - Exposure to AI-enabled tools in compliance or operations is a plus
