Looking for Philippines-based candidates Job Role: Business Development / Admin / Marketing VA (Accounting Software) Compensation range: $1,500-2,000 AUD / Monthly Engagement type: Independent Contractor Agreement Work Schedule: This role is expected to align with the AU business hours (approx. 9 AM - 5 PM, Monday to Friday) for collaboration, but as a contractor, you’ll have flexibility in how you manage your time. We are not an outsourcing agency. All of our roles are 100% remote so you'll be able to work from home. Who The Client Is: This is a forward-thinking accounting team focused on making finances simple, clear, and stress-free for individuals and growing businesses. They combine practical expertise with a hands-on approach to deliver tailored support that goes beyond compliance and helps clients make smarter financial decisions. Their goal is to provide reliable, easy-to-understand solutions that genuinely make a difference. Role Overview: We’re looking for a proactive and reliable Virtual Assistant to support a growing accounting software business. This role blends business development, admin, and basic marketing support, with a strong focus on outreach and client engagement. You’ll play a key role in connecting with accounting firms, booking product demos, and ensuring smooth follow-ups, while also assisting with day-to-day administrative and marketing tasks. This is a long-term opportunity for someone who is confident in communication and eager to grow with a startup environment. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct outreach to accounting firms via email, LinkedIn, and other channels - Qualify leads and schedule product demos with potential clients - Follow up with prospects after demos to maintain engagement and move deals forward - Assist with CRM management, keeping records accurate and up to date - Provide general administrative and basic support as needed - Support basic marketing initiatives (e.g., email campaigns, content updates, or social media tasks) - Collaborate with the team to improve outreach strategies and processes
Job Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in business development, sales support, or a similar client-facing role
- Experience working with or selling software (SaaS), ideally within accounting or finance, is highly preferred
- Strong spoken and written English communication skills
- Proficiency in Xero, along with a strong understanding of accounting firm processes within the Australian context.
- Experience with CRM tools and basic marketing platforms is an advantage, familiarity with tools such as HubSpot, Clandestine, and MailChimp would be considered a plus.
- Comfortable with outreach, lead generation, and follow-ups
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently
- Willing and able to work Adelaide business hours
