Senior Project Manager

• Manage CMS Platform projects from UXR through Design and Build • Serve as an expert in the functional use of the client’s chosen CMS platform • Understand CMS Platform and lead with platform knowledge driving UI / UX best commerce experience. • Driving system demonstrations and training to client business users. • Facilitating all necessary team meetings (sprint planning, daily standups, sprint reviews/retrospectives, etc.) • Facilitating Agile release planning and helping the PO manage the release backlog. • Coaching the team in Agile relative estimation techniques, cross-functionality and self-organization • Identifying, managing, and mitigating project issues and risks • Supporting and educating the Product Owner, especially with respect to defining and prioritizing the product backlog • Ensuring transparency into the team’s work through the Sprint Backlog, Burndown Chart and other Agile metrics • Leading by example - knowing when, and how, to push for more results • Proactively identifying and removing impediments that interfere with the ability of the team to deliver Sprint commitments • Being the coach and all-around advocate for Agile delivery methodology amongst project team and client stakeholders • Influencing software development lifecycles (plan, design, development, testing, and deployment) and working with both the business and technology teams • Facilitating necessary team meetings including Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Sprint Reviews & Retrospectives, along with ensuring effective backlog refinement • Conducting business analysis and translating business requirements to customer experience and development needs • Building roadmaps and advising clients on future strategies and execution • Providing recommendations catered to client industries and their customers

Job Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in a delivery lead role within a software development Agile environment, product experience is a plus
  • 5+ years of experience with a Content Management System; Optimizely, Contentful, etc.
  • Experience leading global Agile teams of 8+ developers and designers to develop the client’s prioritized features with product owner responsibility of feature sign-off and approval
  • Demonstrated success in iterative release of software systems
  • Demonstrated experience implementing AI on delivery software solutions
  • Experience managing project budgets of $5 million+
  • Deep understanding of empirical data needed for stakeholder reporting and team measurement.
  • Proven ability to manage budget, forecast, margin and utilization of project team in a Fixed Fee or Time & Material setting
  • Experience working with Rally/Jira or similar project management software
