Summary of the role: Part of the Growth Marketing team, the Business Development Team plays a critical role in driving new customer pipeline and acquisition through qualifying high-quality, sales-ready leads on behalf of the direct sales team. The Business Development Representative (BDR) role is focused on outbound prospecting, engaging target accounts, and creating early-stage pipeline by clearly communicating the M-Files value proposition. This posting is intended to identify and connect with talented individuals who could contribute to this function as we continue to scale. You'll leverage data insights, best-in-class technology, and a range of tactics to prospect key accounts aligned with sales goals. You’ll possess strong written and verbal communication skills and be able to effectively articulate the M-Files value proposition to a broad and varied audience. You'll collaborate closely with colleagues within the Growth Marketing team to understand regional marketing strategy. This is a fully remote role with the ability to work anywhere in the US (Eastern or Central time traditionally preferred), with occasional travel for events and internal meetings. The role reports to the Manager, Business Development – North America while working closely with Sales teams. What you will be doing/Responsibilities and Duties: - Collaborate closely with Account Executives to develop joint strategies for prospect engagement, pipeline growth, and customer success. - Think strategically about account prioritization and creative ways to open conversations with key decision-makers. - Partner with assigned Sales team to strategically identify and qualify target accounts, increasing pipeline and revenue within your territory - Meet/exceed your monthly/quarterly meeting targets, quality, and activity goals - Leverage account maps, technology stack, and account research to conduct prospecting and uncover latent demand. - Deliver key promotional messages to a sophisticated target audience, using all available mediums including telephone, email, social media and other techniques. - Collaborate closely with colleagues in sales and marketing to share and obtain feedback, lessons learned and best practices. - Ability to travel for internal conference (GTM Kickoff) in January - Potential travel to relevant team events and conferences semi-yearly/yearly RequirementsWho You Are/Requirements, Qualifications and Skills: - 3+ year of experience in a business development or sales role, preferably for a technology vendor - Strong prospecting skills and the confidence to make cold calls, ask for referrals & seek new leads. - Highly self-motivated, disciplined and driven. - Demonstrates the ability to understand technology solutions and communicate the benefits to prospects. - Technology savvy, with a working knowledge of CRM systems and tools such as Salesforce, Gong Engage, LinkedIn etc. are preferred.
