Role Description The Technology Principal works with the AV partnership team to lead decision-making on the technological interests of the firm and to advise on deals. They are responsible for ensuring convergence of the team’s technological vision, designing and implementing technology strategies, and ensuring that the technological resources are aligned with the company’s business needs. Role Description This position is responsible for significant Avionics & Cockpit Tier 1 supplier(s) and is accountable for ensuring on-time delivery and quality of equipment & systems for Airbus Aircraft. The Supply Chain Quality manager is in daily contact with suppliers, their wider supply chain management team, and internal customers (located in North America and Europe). They draw on their past expertise in Industrial, Quality & Operations Management and strong relationship-building skills to problem-solve and proactively mitigate Supply Chain issues. The nature of the job requires a high level of autonomy and strong soft skills including communication. Your responsibilities will include: - Consolidating the Top Company and Top functional objectives in line with ATR vision and strategy. - Driving the execution of a sustainable program strategy, ensuring that all Programs and project objectives—including product quality, delivery schedules, and financial targets (Profit and Loss)—are achieved, while strictly upholding the company's commitments to its clients. - Orchestrating multiple high-stakes projects simultaneously, navigating and resolving priority conflicts, ensuring that resources and timelines remain aligned with the organization’s most critical milestones. - Prioritizing topics based on their impact on Company’s performance and proposing “value driven” roadmaps. - Mastering the intersection of Quality and Performance within the Quality Management System. - Mastering Lean methodologies for improving efficiency, reducing lead times, and transforming compliance requirements into competitive advantages. - Acting as the primary interface between engineering, production, and quality to ensure a seamless flow of information and resources, ensuring that the program's industrial footprint is both robust and agile. Qualifications - You hold a 5-year engineering degree. - Minimum ~ 10 years of experience in the aeronautical field. - Experience in Engineering. - Competencies in Project Management. - Background in Finance and/or Business Performance. - Knowledge in Quality Management System and specifically in ISO9001 and EN9100. - Ability to efficiently interact with diverse stakeholders including top management. - Ability to challenge status quo in situations of divergent opinions/interests. - Tenacity, dynamism, and determination for the success of initiatives & projects. - Strong capacity for coordination, adaptability, and reliability. - Good communication and presentation skills. - Strong analytic capacity to understand many subjects, organize and structure the material. • Perform maintenance and inspections utilizing airframe and power plant (A&P) license outside of certified repair station (CRS) • Conduct advanced troubleshooting to diagnose malfunctioning systems and components • Conduct applicable airframe calendar/hourly inspections • Conduct operational and functional checks of structures, systems, and/or components • Responsible for ensuring physical security of aircraft • Participate in flight tests on aircraft • Perform track and balancing of rotor systems and vibration analysis • Conduct daily huddle meetings and assign maintenance tasks to the technicians • Perform on-site customer support and resolve technical issues identified by Airbus customers • Ensure compliance with production and repair station policies / procedures and FAA Regulations
