Currently, we are hiring an Enterprise Data Architect for one of our partner organizations in KSA on a 1-year contract, offering the opportunity to contribute to exciting projects within a dynamic and forward-thinking environment. Main Responsibilities Enterprise Data Architecture & Design - Develop and maintain the Enterprise Data Architecture blueprint, covering all data layers (Landing Zone, Raw, Curated, Semantic, Sandbox). - Define and manage enterprise data models (conceptual, logical, and physical). - Design, implement, and expand the semantic layer to serve as the enterprise single source of truth (SSOT). - Deliver governed data marts, curated datasets for AI/ML pilots, and advanced data products. Governance & Compliance - Establish and enforce data governance standards, including data lineage, metadata, and business glossary frameworks. - Ensure full compliance with Saudi data regulations (PDPL, NDMO, SAMA/IA). - Implement role-based access controls, PII masking, and auditable security measures. Performance & Optimization - Achieve measurable BigQuery cost optimization (partitioning, clustering, caching, etc.). - Reduce reporting cycle time and improve dashboard accuracy. - Integrate unstructured and semi-structured data (logs, documents, IoT) into governed data models. Collaboration & Enablement - Work closely with Data Quality, Data Science, and RPA teams to support cross-functional initiatives. - Conduct workshops and provide best-practice guidance to internal teams. - Mentor and support junior data analysts to build internal capabilities. - Drive alignment on KPIs and definitions across business units for consistent reporting. Innovation & Value Creation - Enable data monetization by preparing reusable curated datasets and APIs. - Contribute directly to business ROI through cost savings, improved insights, and faster data-driven decision-making. - Deliver clear documentation, blueprints, and governance playbooks as part of the engagement.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field (required).
  • Master’s degree in Data Architecture, Data Science, or Business Analytics (preferred).
  • Experience
  • 4+ years of experience in Enterprise Data Architecture and data modeling.
  • Proven record of delivering data marts and semantic layers at scale.
  • Strong expertise with cloud-native data platforms (preferably Google BigQuery).
  • Experience with metadata/catalog tools, data lineage tracking, and governance frameworks.
  • Previous exposure to Saudi data compliance projects (PDPL, NDMO, SAMA/IA).
  • Familiarity with AI/ML platforms (Vertex AI, SageMaker, etc.).
  • Experience with data monetization strategies and API marketplaces (preferred).
  • Insurance or financial services domain experience (preferred).
