Role Description You'll be the legal backbone for multiple schools operating under different frameworks: charter school agreements, private school regulations, and Crown entity obligations. You'll draft everything from employment contracts to partnership MOUs, lead our annual charter regulatory audit, and build the frameworks that keep us legally sound and operationally excellent. You'll work closely with our Director of Legal & Compliance and report with a dotted line to the CEO of Crimson Academies. This role requires someone who can balance legal rigour with practical, education-sector savvy. Location: Remote (US) Reports to: President, Fluke Health Solutions Role Overview The Vice President, General Counsel is a senior executive responsible for leading Fluke Health Solutions’ global legal, compliance, regulatory, and security oversight functions. This role serves as a strategic advisor to the President and leadership team, ensuring strong governance, disciplined risk management, and protection of the company’s data, systems, products, and reputation. While this role is not the Chief Information Security Officer, the CISO and security function report into Legal, with the VP, General Counsel holding ultimate accountability for cybersecurity governance, risk posture, and alignment with business strategy. This leader is expected to operate as a business‑first legal partner—balancing risk with speed, enabling growth, and raising the bar on accountability, rigor, and execution across the enterprise. Key Responsibilities Legal, Compliance & Governance - Serve as chief legal advisor to the President and leadership team on all legal, regulatory, and governance matters. - Lead global legal strategy across commercial, product, regulatory, employment, litigation, IP, privacy, and data protection. - Oversee corporate governance, executive and board support, and enterprise policy frameworks. - Ensure strong compliance programs across regulated environments, including healthcare, quality systems, trade compliance, and global regulatory requirements. - Partner closely with HR, Finance, Product, and Commercial leaders on complex employee relations, investigations, transactions, and risk matters.
