Senior Legal Counsel – Product & Commercial
Voicemod
• Own and drive commercial agreements, including vendor, marketing, influencer, and other business contracts. • Support complex negotiations and strategic initiatives, including technology partnerships, integrations, preloads, and other growth opportunities. • Partner with Product and Engineering teams to assess legal risks for new product features, launches, and emerging use cases in voice and AI-powered experiences. • Support key legal workstreams across IP, data protection, and compliance, coordinating with external counsel when needed. • Help build the legal foundations that scale, including templates, playbooks, internal guidelines, and “safe frameworks” for teams to operate confidently. • Support international expansion, providing risk assessments based on publicly available information and helping decide when/where local counsel is needed. • Collaborate cross-functionally and contribute to a culture of trust, ownership, and pragmatism in how legal supports the company.
Job Requirements
- 7+ years of legal experience, with strong exposure to commercial and tech-driven environments.
- Law degree from an accredited institution, with admission to the bar or equivalent professional qualification in at least one EU Member State and/or the United States.
- Solid in-house legal experience (or a strong combination of law firm + in-house), ideally supporting fast-moving business teams.
- Proven ability to draft, review, and negotiate contracts end-to-end, balancing speed and risk in a practical way.
- Experience working on or close to technology/product topics in product-led organizations.
- A builder mindset: you enjoy creating frameworks, templates, and scalable ways of working (not just applying rules).
- Strong communication skills in English (professional efficiency), able to draft and negotiate in English, and clearly explain risks and options to non-lawyers.
- A collaborative, team-player approach: you are supportive, hands-on, and business-oriented.
