Role Description ViaPath is seeking an Intelligence Associate Analyst to join our team working with our clients. The responsibility of the Intelligence Associate Analyst will be to provide direct support to the customer staff. While in this critical position, you will have the opportunity to utilize your training and experience to assist Corrections Investigations staff in the development of actionable intelligence within the facilities or approved outside law enforcement agencies within established time frames. The selected candidate will be team oriented, capable of multitasking, and possess excellent communication skills. Position is a remote based position based in the Columbus, OH area with a requirement to travel to client site as needed. - Analyze data to establish trends within the facility and potential areas of interest - Assist facility with investigations by utilizing specialized software provided for data mining and link analysis - Monitor offender telephone calls - Establish a fundamental understanding of the facility’s operation to include policies and procedures, and data sources available for analysis - Prepares analysis, evaluation, and recommendations for proper responses to intelligence gathered - Proactively develop intelligence to assist in accomplishing facility objectives and mission - Submit detailed reports to facility regarding intelligence findings - Submit regular reports to superiors outlining level of support and benefit to facility - Provide guidance and training to facility staff - Fulfill requests for call recordings or other related data as authorized and requested - Participation in court or other administrative related hearings Qualifications - A Bachelor’s Degree preferred; equivalent experience in lieu of a degree will be considered. A concentration in Criminal Justice, criminology or a Business-related field is preferred. - 0-2 years of experience as a criminal intelligence analyst; or an equivalent substitution of experience with a government law enforcement or military agency performing technical tasks such as research, reviewing written documentation to identify and extract relevant information, completing investigative reports, court documents, or statistical data - Ability to develop a fundamental understanding of intelligence processes in a correctional environment to include institutional operations and criminal procedures - Demonstrate fundamental understanding of investigative and intelligence processes to include the intelligence cycle - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Proficient in Microsoft Windows OS and Microsoft Suite - Ability to learn ViaPath and third-party software applications within the first six months of hire - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet competing deadlines - Strong problem-solving skills with an interest and ability to conduct analysis and report on findings - Pro-active - Ability to handle confidential information - Fluency (written and verbal) in English is required. The Role Kinetic is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to serve as our primary visual strategist and the bridge between our data and the insights that drive our mission. In this role, you will be the internal expert on translating complex business needs into highly interactive, AI-enhanced Tableau dashboards. You aren’t just a chart builder; you are a visual strategist who moves beyond static filters to design dynamic, self-service exploration tools that make data-driven decision-making effortless for our teams You will own the end-to-end journey of a visualization: from partnering with Actuarial and Insurance Ops teams to define a KPI, to validating data accuracy, to delivering a polished final product in Tableau.
